Agreed he is a great player and icon. But is it the job of the govt. why dont these moooroons look into the farmer's death, lack of infrastructure, high food prices etc first and then construct memorials and all the craaaap. Or is that they are unable to do anything productive that they are doing these foolish populist things.

Dude, he has already taken retirement from T20 internation matches.
He said youngsters should get a chance! He plays in domestic T20 because of his passion for cricket and obviously a huge money is also involved in this.

TU, you can't go this far if you don't have the passion in what you are doing! Example is Ganguly! He doesn't have the passion for cricket anymore and see the result!
After playing for more than 21 years he is still energetic and hungry for success!

Consistency for 2 decades..Absorbing the pressure of playing highly competative international games under high expectation yet delivering the goods like a super star for 2 decades..stand out performance in all formats of the game..all batting records in his kitty!!!.Yes.I think 10 years down the line people visiting the museum would b wondering how the hell this many runs have been scored??? is he human??.

Sachin cricket career is extra-ordinary..no wonder he is a demigod to this cricket loving nation.

If cricket is religion Sachin is god!!!

Cheers!!!

Hahahahahahaha......... That is my only response to the proposed museum. Thank God, it is not going to be a Temple!!! This shows how misplaced our priorities are! Ask Amitabh Bachan, also a great icon of the masses. He is being treated like shit by the very same Congress/UPA Government! All it takes is just one word against Sonia, Rahul or Congress and you are no more an icon, but shit! That is India for you. Ask or tweet Amitabh Bachan. He will have a lot to say!
