In IPL cricketers play against world class bowlers. Everything is in the open. You can see Murali Vijay, Badrinath, Manoj Tiwary, Naman Ojha, Ashwin, Balaji, Ishant Sharma struggling in IPL despite doing well in domestic cricket. Manish Pandey, Saurabh tiwary, Suman, Vinay Kumar, Bisla, have shown tremendous potential and deserve places in the national team

Trust me people, this same LAKSHMI NARASIMHAN referred to low class bowlers when everyone were praising Yousuf Pathan's innings of 100 runs in 37 balls. Now his stand is changed. 2 faced Narasimhan.

Lakshmi, pls dont include Ashwin in the list. He is the future spinner allrounder for india after Harbhajan, what a talent he is.

You are wrong Sir. I am a great fan of the Pathan bros. Yousuf in particular is a match winner who singlehandedly bails his RR team everytime from crisis
Sorry Sourab-Our dashing Srikant will select only Tamilians for T20 world cup.Soon you will find out Robin Uthappa or Manish Pandey or Vinay Kumar or Mithun will not be there in Indian team, instead Mr.Great Srikant will see to it that players from Tamilnadu such as Vijay,Badrinath,Murali Karthik.Balaji etc.would be somehow drafted into Indian T20 team for world cup.It is not Just Srikant, Vengsarkar did the same thing, and this regionalism will continue like this but Srikant is some what Champion of Champions HATER OF REGIONALISM BHARAT

Srikant is a rubber mouth who is very good in criticising others. Agreed he has played few good innings for India , but he was never a great player. However, his attitude shows, he is the greatest.

IPL-3 is valued at $4.13 billion (Rs 19,000 crore) which is more than double of $2.01 billion in IPL 2009. It is also estimated that IPL-3 is the world’s sixth most valuable sporting event, a position it achieved in just three years. This huge amount of money was never seen in the history of cricket. The prize money announced was three times the prize money of a cricket world cup.Sony MAX spends on Ads to get more Ads for IPL season 3 expects 700 crores this season.
The importance of performance in domestic cricket cannot be ignored. Saurav Tiwari who selected for IPL Mumbai Indians only because of his performance in domestic cricket. Then how can he say that performance in domestic cricket is not so important.
