Anyone would love to see sachin get a test triple if not a 400. But for that to happen, he needs to bat more aggressively in test matches. We have seen sachin slows down in test matches and is more content on defence. That is the problem.
In india if a player scores a century in a match and commits a murder the next day , the people will forgive him because he becomes a darling of the masses.
Sachin is a great player of the game. He has great talent.
BUT SACHIN IS A SELFISH PLAYER. He only plays for the records and personal glory.
Once when he was on 193 in australia , dravid who was captain declared as there was one hour play still left and dravid wanted to bowl and get a couple of wickets. Sachin was hopping mad at dravid because he was denied his chance to score a double century. he also made his anger known at the press briefing. Sachin did not care about india winning the match . he was more interested in his double ton.
No import duty on ferrari , free fuel for his ferrari , his request for a free plot in bandra and sushil kumar shinde's refusal , the list can go on and on about his selfishness.
BUT LET THERE BE NO DOUBT , HE IS A FINE PLAYER OF THE GAME , PROBABLY ONLY SECOND TO THE GREAT DON.

Aries, first go & get the stats correct, It was match against Pakistan in pakistan not against Australia. Score was 194 not 193 as you wrote. Sachin had never made his anger khown in press briefing infact in press meet he downplayed the whole matter. It was only when he was coming back from pitch he was upset & I am sure at 194 any one will like to complete double & wait for few more overs, but later when he got idea of rahul he agreed to his plans. Regarding Ferrari - it was a gift from company to Sachin not purchase, sachin had argued for his case that on gift normally no tax is being imposed, he had not requested for no import duty as you mentioned falsely in comment. Never ever he asked for free fule atleast i never read anywhere till date can you tell us the date & newpaper name where you read, But even if you will tell as u wrote many false things about him this also will be a false allegation agaisnt a true son of INDIA.
Grow up man, first you show us what U did for country before insulting great figure like sachin.

r u sure it was against Pakistan.
he had asked for exemption for his ferrari and if that was not enough he again asked for exemption for he homologation test of his ferrari (this test is a costly one). i know u may not b knowing hte meaning of homologation.
Tendu a great player but facts r facts do not try to change them :)

On gift, there is no income tax, but still you have to pay import duty...Plz check the tax laws.

I know about the Ferrari issue and he sorted that out subsequently... but what's up with Free fuel for his Ferrari and Free plot in Bandra??? Maybe the next I'll hear is about Sugar Free for his tea.... ;-)
In any case, as long as he scores runs they get added to the Team's score in case you noticed.... ;-)
Else you'd say the Great Don was selfish too coz he too had many personal records to his name.... :)

My my - 20 odd years of playing cricket and you have 3-4 instances to point out. With a completely open mind, think about your life for the last one week - think how many selfish actions you performed. If you are a resident of India, how much did you donate to the beggar(s) you saw the last week? Or did you decide to keep all that money to yourself? Did you think you can probably skip a soft drink or some snack a day to give Rs 10 to a beggar? If you are indeed that kind and generous, I do apologize for my comment - you do have the right to criticize others. Else, look at your self and be the change what you want to see in others.
in a western country... The media and the league would have included in the HALL OF FAME or something... The fans would have UTMOST RESPECT KEEPING ASIDE CAST OR RELIGION OR LOOKS..
THE MAIN DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE WEST AND THE EAST IS WESTERN PEOPLE UNDERSTAND THE creation of VALUE while in turn creats wealth.

@ Qanda... keep aside the Sachin or any great player haters... we don't care for them... but you are wrong when you say.. we don't respect the creation and it's value... if that is true.. Sachin would not have got so many awards.
In western countries also, if there is hall of fame... there are haters for all kinds creation... so please donot single out on that part.
There are different kinds of people in the world... people who appreciate.. people who hates somebodies creativity.. people who just don't care what is happening around... the list can go on... but they are scattered all across the world... not just in east or west or for that India.
The only problem is... when we Indians love something.. we love too much.. and when we hate something we hate too much... We tend to take all issues with uncontrolled emotions, which is a big problem. In western countries.. people do Hall of Fame... but the also do Parodies.. but they all take it light... no body calls Michael Jorden a God... he is just a great player... Michael Jackson is King of Pop.. not God of pop music... and so on... so they know their limits... and our emotions are uncotrolled, which is the difference. & You and me cannot do much about it. But just sit and blog about it....:)...
So.. take a chill pill... let the earth move around... atleast keep your emotions controlled.. so you are not fooled by anyone else...:)
