Farooq, cricket is being played outside of INDIA too. Go check the records, it id ODI women, Ms Belinda Clark former Australian player scored double century in 1997.

If he is GOD then we gets out on zero sometimes and why his team doesn't win in every match he plays in ?
He is the GREATEST of Indian cricket.. not GOD.
Sachin is genius par excellence and a master craftsman whose consistent strokes nobody can match.
he is really a great player - his imagination is perfect and he will achieve what he planned for, he will achieve and never be proud for that - that is his success.
He is imaging cricketer which i have been seen in my life. He score 200* but i am not surprise but i am in always hope he will do it one day. He is imagaging/wonderful/ cool/clam cricketer. He never proud for his achievements. But as Indian I proud on Sachin
I agree that Sachin deserve a Bharat ratna but i would like the award to be given to great people like Martyr Cap. Davinder singh Jass, who sacrificed a lucarative corporate world for serving the country and it's countrymen. Jass was a great person, lived and died for his country! Nothing less, nothing more

what if Jass was still living. Would you still have recommended that he be given Bharat Ratna?
There are many brave officers in the Indian armed forces today. It seems that those who remain alive after brave acts are not eligible for awards!

thats why army has there own awarding system...they give ashok chakra for peace time and param vir chakra for war time...
Sachin looks innocent and is a innocetn character..if any other batsmen would have been on this stage, he would have been on cloud 9 and would have posed like a president...

its common, celebrities are invited anywhere..and some of the inivitations cannot be avoided...not hole heartedly but he has to attend it..
this is an honest request....sachin do not go for personal mile stones...play for team needs...play for making team to win major tournaments...india hasent won worldcup during your playing period resons may be many...but concentrate on that and tune to yourself to achive that big ambition.....adopt ur self to play at the middle order in onedayers so that u can become a more leathal finisher in tough matches....put team needs ahead of anything...finaly learn from rahul dravid on how to contribute to team needs at different situations , by batting at different positions...this is the only drawback that sachin needs to overcome....all the best sachin...

the opinions & values are as weighty as sachin is as a batsman & as a person, on & off the field..it shows how much respect & love this "little big man" has for the game.. with his beleif & love for the game, actually the triple ton in test in his career may happen although it is quite tough now at 37 yrs for him but as he is sachin, it is still possible but remotely but then masters have the class to convert the remote possibilities into a reality.. that is not out of the window now, after making double ton in ODI & if actually it comes, it will again another great great moment for this great batsman of the world..
Indeed he has played with 3 generations as he has mentioned-- the 1st gen were kapil, shastri, vengsarkar, azhar etc.., 2nd gen were kambli, robin singh, srinath, venkatesh prasad, kumble, sourav, rahul, laxman etc. & the 3rd are the current co-members of his team like sehwag, dhoni, gambhir, yuvraj, zahir, bhajji etc.. actually u can say he has been there with the 4th one who are raina, ishant, virat kohli, rohit sharma etc..& still the numero uno player in the team among all these players.. UNBELIEVABLE STUFF!!!!!!

my dear, the other name of "CONVERTING THE DREAMS INTO A REALITY" is SACHIN RAMESH TENDULKAR!!!! So he can, he can still score a test triple ton but winning WC in 2011 u can say is probably not possible for him even if he plays like 2003 WC & scores heavily in all the matches, single handedly it is not possible for him to win INDIA the WC coz in that case he has to bowl then too as all our bowlers (& fielders too) are pathetic & least to talk about them is better off.. THIS IS THE REALISTIC THOUGHT & we have to accept that.. whatever this little big man has done for INDIA so far is DREAMY for any player for his country for over the last 21 years & wishing him all the best to do well in his rest ODI career till 2011 WC & test career which will probably last till around early 2012.. By the time he finishes in both ODIs & TESTs in most probably early 2012 with more than 33000 international runs with atleast 100 100s hopefully(even if not 50 100s in both ODIs & TESTs which we like to & will be great & perfect for him to finish this illuminated lucrative career, atleast 48-49 in ODIs & 51-52 in TESTs) including over 18000 in ODIs @over 45 avg & 15000 hopefully (if not, close to 15000) @around 56 avg will be awesome & very hard to believe!!!!!!! already got more than 31000 international runs with 93 10

Are you saying that Sachin doesn't play for team needs. Did you forget that during 1999 world cup sachin batted at no. 3 and 4. Come on even if Team India wins the world cup then also you guys will find fault in him. And that is the only drawback that Sachin is facing from your kind of guys.

And more over it, he came back from the biggest shock in one person's life (father's demise) in that WC & score 140* in the very next match!!!!!!, which we ordinary persons can't even think but he is devoted for his country & believes like his mother said at that time that if his father was alive at the time he too would want to see him play for his country at that time in WC..
