in every day night match nowadays we see that due is a major problem....the team bowling under lights is at a big disadvantage as they have to bowl with a wet soggy ball which is impossible....organisers have tried spraying chemicals on the grass to prevent due from settling on the surface but sometimes we have seen that even that is ineffective....day night cricket sounds exciting as i will get to watch more of test cricket when i come home after work but it should not be at the cost of the quality of cricket....so first find solutions for maintaining the colour of the ball and due and then definitely night test cricket can be thought about
modi is mistaken.. future of a game is not decided by few marketing minds.. spreading baseless info for personal gain.. test cricket is alive n well.. keep experiments to t20 and odis
he is mistaken.. test cricket won't die.. the south africa series was proof.. even timings of test cricket should not be fiddled.. please dont apply ur ipl mindset into all formats of the game.. t-20 is already an overdose with ipl. world t-20 and champions league along with single t-20s.. one day and test cricket will survive.. t20 will sink..thanks to over exposure
Mr Modi , Test cricket is the pinnicle to test the cricketers is your view but who is going to sit for 8 hrs in night for 5 days. psl show ur marketing skills in test cricket and bring revenue without tampering the true colour of the game.the grace of test cricket can be experianced in day only.Dont kill the game for money.
