Only a gambler like Modi can give such a statement because he doesnt gets opportunity to milk money out of this format.
Test Crciket has been and would always remain to be true cricket. If there are attempts to fabricate Test Cricket in India, it would also die the way game of Hockey has died in India. Modi is a cheater, a joker and a cheap entertainer, one can expect such comments from him.
Test cricket is full of patience, strategies and full of character and brains, played in several sessions, and is the ultimate test of cricketing talent and is the ultimate form of cricket. And more importantly and unlike earlier times, the teams are trying to score fast and trying for a result. I enjoy it more than any other form of the game.
T-20 can be decided between the teams by toss of a coin like a lottery...no need to play it at all because the best team does not necessarily win a T-20 match because there is no time to come back. Test cricket gives time and the teams can come back and win if they have it in them. That's my take.
