Some posters on Rediff are calling for all Indians to return home. THey forget that the reason they went abroad in the first place is because of ill-treatment at home. Being denied proper economic opportunities and being condemned to poverty is the biggest crime that was perpetrated on them by Nehruvian-Stalinism..
Remove the cause, and the effect will automatically disappear.

We are offering an Asian games gold medal in a platter to Pakistan/Srilanka..an Asian games or Olympic gold is a matter of national pride..and one gold medal can raise our positon a lot in the medal tally..we must make sure to get Hockey,Kabaddi,Shooting,Archery,Wt.lifting boxing and Cricket gold medals..it is matter of the prestige of Indians..and till now we donot know how is the preparation going on in atheletics..Is there any new P.T.Usha?
Rediff please take up the matter like Bt.Brinjal to force this money hungry enemy of the nation BCCI to send our team to Asiad..
Government should compel BCCI to send the main team not the second string team for Asiad. If the Government can provide elaborate arrangements for IPL , then, Why can't it force BCCI to change its decision. It is an insult to India and to the sportsmanship.

I fully agree with the BCCI for not sending TEAM INDIA to the Asian Games ( Agreed that Asian Games gold medal is a matter of pride for every player) however BCCI knew well in advance as per the FTP that Australia and New Zealand are to tour India in the month of November. And also on the topic of sending the second side to the games...there is ICC Cricket World Cup scheduled in February 2010 and BCCI would love to have fit and fresh as options at their persual just in case there is a major injury to any of the senior players around.
as a first step rediff should remove the icon written as cricket,make it as sports,y all other sports comes under cricket??????if there is back pain for cricketer it is written in rediff.but regarding athletics,badminton,volleyball ...no news.you know asian grand pre athletics is going on in pune???
support indian football team..they were totalyy ignored by media.took three cups in 3 yeras 2007-2008-2009..now they will play in aisa cup 2011.we are in the death group with austalai,south korea and baharin.. now sunil chetri(striker) in USA,subrata pal(goal keeper) in canada(trials going on) and gourmangi singht (defender) australia (trials start on next weeK)

Its a purely privately managed commercial entertainment show only to benefit the consumer companies in India who sell their junk products to Indians through cricketers and Cricket matches which are fixed to suit the performance of the brand ambassadors of their products.
Crcketers never represented India, they represent BCCI. But take advantage of India and its citizens.
