THEY WILL BE FIT TO PLAY IF THEY GET CRORES
by Harmeet Bhatti on Jun 01, 2010 11:14 PM  | Hide replies

They will send the team if each they see money in the games. I mean all the players would be fit to play the matches in Asian games if they pay them in crores. But if they dont get anything much then they dont care to go anywhere.

Even BCCI looks for money.... NO one cares to Play for INDIA ..l its just for money.. The name of the country is used just to get sympathy of the people of India.. All they know is to fool the people..

Bhaskar,
It's your personal opinion and I respect that too.. But a person in thieves company is a thief.
You can't have the cake and eat it too. No exceptions.

that is well said. BCCI knows very well that foolish people will come and watch cricket irrespective of team performance. no one plays for indian team. it is only for money. it is only by chance that some matches are won. or even that might be fixed

Atleast send new players
by siddharth on Jun 01, 2010 10:58 PM  | Hide replies

New talent can be acquired by given chance to others. send B grade team, so that every one has chance to play for the nation and prove themselves.

There is nothing important than national pride, why a B-Grade team? winning a medal for the country sounds so cheap to you guys? It is the matter of pride and no way we should compromise with a second grade team in Asian Games to end up being a loosing side.

BCCI should be brought to court
by Bobby Christo on Jun 01, 2010 10:50 PM

How can BCCI decide whether the country can be represented at asian games??

BCCI is a club that reports to ICC.

What is this nonsense.
by Sudhir on Jun 01, 2010 10:48 PM

How can BCCI not dare send a team for international events, this is ridiculous. Who are they to decide not to send a team, for Asian games. Is it not winning a medal for the country more fulfilling than anything else.
BCCI should be thrown away with and Indian Government should send a team.

BCCI did this to save face
by Injun Abhi on Jun 01, 2010 10:44 PM  | Hide replies

India would hjave lost to China and brought more disgrace to the country. BCCI actually did a patriotic act by not sending the team.

File a litigation in Supreme Court for Using INDIA
by Shesh Lak on Jun 01, 2010 10:37 PM  | Hide replies

If these bunch of jokers can't repsent India in Asian Games then they don't have rights to be called Indian team. They should simply be called TEAM BCCI not TEAM INDIA.
If they use word INDIA or INDIAN then a case should be filed against them for defaming country's name and pride for their personal gain and benefit.

How rightly brought out, and people should cut down on listening, watching and discussing built up hype giving such out of proportion importance to them.

Once "India" is taken out, it would become BCC but not BCCI. So, the team should be called as "Team BCC".
