I can choose karthik is better than rohit sharma. Puticulary in odi matches. He is most consistent batsman compared to rohit sharma. Except last 2 series rohit sharma average is only 22. He got 2 hundered in zimbawe series. Thus why its average is 31.5. otherwise rohit is not consistent batsman. Dinesh karthik capable of batting at any slot and he can able to play as wicket keeper
In India we have only medium pacers and slow medium pacers. When Mithin was introduced .. the hype was he is a quick bowler. He was barely touching low 130KMPH. So its better to find bowlers who can bowl decent line and length and send them to England county to get matured. Or these bowling worries will continue for ever and getting good bowler will be just a dream

Correct .. in indai the defintion of all rounder is "one who can niether bat well or bowl well, but can do both at times when his position is going to axed" examples - ravi shastri, irfan pathan and ravindra jadeja.
One kind request, please STOP misusing the term all rounder in india.
When he played his last ODI was against pakistan. That too in 2 matches. Previously he played against SA in feb. BCCI is trying to give rest so that he can improve his bowling. But thats not gonna happen. Simply he cant take wickets. Even if he does that will b 5th day pitch of a test match or subcontinent wickets.
bhajji is not rested but dropped... sachin is rested not coz he needs it but coz he might spoil bcci crooks and betting syndicates match fixing agenda... as sachin will not be a part of it...

what wrong did arvin say about bhajji. He is dropped because he is consistently inconsistent lately. the selectors should be more vocal when they drop senior players who aren't performing well.

Karthik can open and May be Tiwary in place of Rohit or Kohli if we need to test him..
If not, Kohli or Rohit can open for a match giving middle order place to Tiwary..
