Yusuf got chances Coz. all knows, he was not good enough to retained his place. Zaheer is there only because india can`t play without zaheet at his time.

we can`t get perfact 11 unless politics stops in indian cricket for noe letting play muslim players.
when uthappa was in team..openers never rested...he hardly got chance to open...still he did reasonably well....but now when he was fit they didnt considered him despite IPL performance and when he is out players like kartik and vijay getting chance as opener...

Javed, this kind of comments are apt for teams like Pakistan.. who do not encourage non-muslim players at all (we have one now of course Kaneria, who is also ignored very frequently). If some non Muslim joins the PAK team, very certainly his conversion is in cards.
Our Little Master always either seeks rest or feigns injury to keep off from a 'Tough Job'.
Here too he will be on rest after scoring a double ton with 'more than friendly Sri Lankan bowling' on a placid pitch and in an extremely boring drawn match.
How long such fellows will keep fooling the Indian cricket fans?

We talk alot about these things than others. Imran khan extended his career by opting out many tours and thats how he maintained high wickets per test ratio. Whereas Kapil had to play all matches due to high dependency on him. Even there were times when India depended heavily on Sachin in the 90's.Today, India doesnt depend on Sachin.There are many other heroes like Sehwag who can take the burden. I feel Sachin can have choice now as He played for 20 years. And by opting out he is opening choice for another talented player to replace him in the long run.

Sachin Saved India when India already lost 3 quick wickets. Another thing is, why should India still depend on Sachin when people like you claim he must retire and be replaced by so called youngsters. Let the youngsters play in the tri series, while Sachin plays selectively. Thats how replacements are made.

RJ as allrounder...what all round skills does he have to represent the national team.
They earn billions and cant produce quality spinners and fast bowlers in their academies.
It is really disheartening to see such greats like Sachin and Dravid lined up with shitty bowlers.
We miss you Kumble and Srinath but is that the answer to our needs. I am sure there will be atleast a handful of bowlers in a billion country of ours. All that is required is selectors to open their eyes and look for talent.
They have destroyed Munaf and Irfan two real potential talents by not incorporating the culture of discipline.
Shame on you administrators. Stop playing with the emotions and trust of we Indians.
If we rest top players we will be never be no.1. At least in the history of cricket we should become no.1. now we have a chance but we wont what a sad.

What is the point in having this awkward crap as the captain which dosn't know the importance of fielding the best team, which can only give media statements as if it's got a great vocabulary and smartness of mind. In reality this thug should have been kicked out of in favour of Karthik or Parthiv. "I can't understnd what is happening to the Indian cricket administration which selects people like Vengsarkar (who is responsible for Dravid's resignation as captain) and Srikanth (who is still in the mood of slogging out in the middle without having a smooth flow of blood in his brain)?".
