I can choose karthik is better than rohit sharma. Puticulary in odi matches. He is most consistent batsman compared to rohit sharma. Except last 2 series rohit sharma average is only 22. He got 2 hundered in zimbawe series. Thus why its average is 31.5. otherwise rohit is not consistent batsman. Dinesh karthik capable of batting at any slot and he can able to play as wicket keeper

Dont tell lie. He cleverly give oppurtunity for all player in rotation. See Emerging tournment is better than srilanka series. Because this is in australia condiotion. Co he give chance to lot of next level players please check squad for that tour. Please check squad for emerging Players Tournament between four nation in australia

In test match his average in opening slot is more than 55. He may failed in middle order. gambir is better choice in 3rd slot this make vijay and shewak opening innings in test match

my choice is gambhir, he has already proved to be a good opening batsman he has the confidence and can play a long innings

Gambir can able to play well in 3rd slot in dravid place in future. Pujara will get laxman place. In that time Vijay and shewak is opening batsman

who will play in the next test yuvi or raina or both if both then who will sit out dravid or laxman i think dravid shd b dropped we have had enough of him in 2007,2008 he batted with an avg of just 30 in tests still he was retained in the team lucky guy
