Boss, just because they could not make cut to the senior team, doesnt make them inferior. Noel david was the best fielder, Amay khurasiya has scored heaps of runs in ranji trophy, which is the criteria to get selected not some PURA cup for ur kind inference...

Shrikanth is a dictator in selecting cricketers. Even I cant see him successful cricketer because he was consistently failed in his career of last 4-5 years and his record against Pakistan was the poorest, he couldnt face fast bowlers of Pakistan. I didnt understand how he could manage to stay in Indian cricket team those days
Srikanth is going to be the worst BCCI selector in the history. I don;t think there will be another selector as worst as Srikanth. Lot of his selections lack creativity. Adding to this is the selection of players who are not interested to face the quality bowlers. Srikanth is keep on selecting Vijay, Dinesh Karthik,Ashwin even though they are not interested. All of them wants to be in bench. Also he selects only Tamil Nadu players or players represening Chennai Super Kings. Under his selectionship, india lost to Zimbabwe miserably. indian team became the most unstable team udner Srikanth Selectionship.

Another interesting thing is Srikanth is selecting only Tamil Brahmins. Looks Tamil Branhims treat other tamils not as equals.

Irfan was a promising cricketer who showed great talent when he started and was at his best when he took the hattrick in a Test v Pak. He is still a great batsman, and I would rank him better than most of the batsmen (other than the top 5 who play for India in Tests - Sehwag, Gambhur, Drvaid, Tendulkar, Laxman), especially in true pitches. But he is lost as a bowler now. Remember he was sent back from the middle of a series when Vengsarkar was the chief selector, that sums up his deterioration in bowling. If he is determined, he can easily come back as he has very good talent. But I do not know if he is as dedicated to cricket, as he was earlier.
