Find out from cricinfo. :)
It is a free service you know. :)
If you wanna be a UV who intentionally scores a 12 against "weak" teams, I have a serious problem with your sportsmanship. :)
Its good to see that you want him to be perfect and have an average of 100 against ALL teams of ALL times, but for most mortal cricket fans, he is great... :)

You surely have some serious mental problem or you would have raised such useless question! Sachin's max centuries both in ODI's & Tests have come against the strongest team Australia. You will know this only you watch cricket! And BTW why other batsmen give him chance to make runs against them? Why don't Sehwag, gambhir, Dravid pill double or tripple tons against them to make sure India don't need him to come in the field to bat?

Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha .... utter failure in big matches and Finals, yet averages 56 (approx) in Tournament Finals and above 103 in Tournament Finals won by India.

Truth hurts because some people cant digest. Sachin is all time great. On a day when all so called youngsters failed, he made a century and some one feels bitter to appreciate and tries many reasons to criticize. truth really hurts.

Some fellows only try to comment Tendulkar only. Barring Australaria please show any other team who are having the best batsman in the world. It is only India & Tendulkar.

Let us agree that if only Sachin was not an Indian Cricketer or better not at all even born, India would have undisputed world leader in cricket in field too. Now thanks to Lalit Mody and BCCI, we are at least leaders off the field. But who can rewind and rewrite destiny? So, my dear friends, just enjoy cricket as it is now, if you are hurt or sore at Sachin's game and records.
Re: Re: Truth hurts.
by explorer on Jan 18, 2010 09:00 PM
Most stupid statement. If Sachin represented any other country, he could score more centuries against India itself.

Explore my comment a bit more and you may find the sarcasm reserved for those who love to hate Sachin.
Sachin is the Almighty God of Cricket in India. So is Ponting for Australia to a lesser degree because it is a Sports living country with craze for many other games unlike just cricket fad in India.
In terms of actual statistics why we dont look at Jacques Kallis who has almost 33 centuries & about 250 wickets in both test & one day vesrion of the game. I feel he is better than all the greats we are fighting about on this forum.
Please do not write because the God gave you hands. He probably also gave you a brain. Please use that for a change.
The only thing that your Sachin bashing does is it goes to prove that you are an illogical loser who hates people making good money. Poor Poor Poor. Even dirty water can wash your brain. Do try that.
The BCCI should arrange at least 15 test matches a year against Bangladesh for the next 5 years, so that by winning all those matches (God Willing) Sachin can beat the record of Ricky Ponting for the most test victories as a player. I think that's what that old man is still playing for, even if he is struggling for breath.

What have the youngsters done in this innings when compared to "old man that can't breathe"?

Fist make up your mind whehter Sachin is still playing for playing against Bangladesh, OR whether BCCI is NOT holding enough matches with Bangladesh.
Once this basic confusion in your mind is cleared, and YOU understand what you are trying to say, we all may then understand what you are trying to say.... :)

Dear, wht have u tld if sachin got out cheaply... might be he is the only cricketer in the world who is criticised both for good and bad performance... dont show the attitude of a typical indian.. manu.... watch jayasurya... hes in the srilankan team even after 40 yrs.. and he is not performing half of what sachin does. yet he gets selected into one-day team... jsut because the presence of surya boosts the srilankan performance.. and we indians... wht are we doing.. shame on u...

Ponting is older than Sachin. And you are the only person doing this comparison while the whole world says Sachin is the best. Thanks for your research on how to ridicule one person while getting ready to appreciate anyone other than him. Disclaimer is we admire Ponting as well as the player. But he too has setbacks like worst behavior on ground. His captaincy is debatable as any dog leading Australia keeps winning and he is a captain who lost some easy matches.

you say T20 is for yougsters? Take a look at the top 10 scorers in the IPL edition last year and tell me the percentage of "young" people in the list. you will find that 40% are 'old' people
Re: BCCI should arrange more test matches with Bangladesh.
by Ramelton Pandya on Jan 18, 2010 05:26 PM
If Sachin had bowlers and fielders like Ponting has in his team, India's winning percentage would have been 100%. I don't expect you to understand this but if you can think reasonably then this will help.

Manu's achievements..He is being hated by his own parents ..Look the way he is writing and trying to prove his point ..Only psycos or lonely people can write this way...He has no friends it seems..Total waste ...Lets pray for him..
Re: Re: Re: BCCI should arrange more test matches with Bangladesh

Azhar was the most successful captain till Ganguly crossed him. Kumble is the biggest match winner for India. Laxman is one of the greats who changed the attitude of Indian team that we can win even after follow-on (his innings of 281 is Wisdon's Alltime great innings). Sehwag is the player who can crack any bowling in to pieces. Dont you accept they are all great players? As we all know matches are not won by individuals they are won by the team. Dont blame individuals for that.

4 a beginner cricket nation like bangladesh the following players shd hv been sent.gambir,shewag.pujara.manish pandey, yuvaraj.dhoni, mishra, abhimanu mithun, sudeep tyagi,& ishant.whn r u going 2 groom youngesters?wat purpose solved by sachin century.dravid dropped ranji trophy by going to bangladesh.i think ranji final is far better than india bangla test.wat a great match.the pitch tested the technique of the batsmen.nearly all failed except manish pandey.

Ravi....if you had dropped Sachin from the team ...imagine what the score would have been with the youngsters. Pathetic....Moreover playing for the Inida is more prestigious and a far greater honour than playing for any state.

hv u seen the ranji finals?manish pandey will thrash bangaladesh singlehandedly.can bangladesh beat mumbai r karnataka? pls think.if the pitch is like mysore both mumbai and karnataka thrash bangaladesh.
Re: Re: Re: tour of bangladesh
by rajat rawat on Jan 18, 2010 05:13 PM
Manish Pandeys innings was against a Mumbai state team. It does not gurantee a success in international matches. Well a manish panday with a good innings cannot be compared to Sachin.
Re: tour of bangladesh
by SHERLY SAJAN on Jan 18, 2010 04:33 PM
When Manish Pandey is around 29 like Robin Singh. Look at Pak, Umer Akmal is the best find in world cricket in 2009. He is now playing all the versions. We have to look at the current form and not the past glory.

Let me butt in for all of you. My Test team for India(15 players) Viru, Gauti, Virat, Sachin(till he decides to retire),Manish, Manoj(tiwary), Dhoni, harbhajan, ravi(Jadeja)-Don't think he is only 50/50 player, zaheer, Ishant, Tyagi, mithun, Piyush(Chawla)(reserve WK-Parthiv)
