Pls don't criticize players
by dinesh kumar on Feb 13, 2010 02:36 PM

Hi All,
Am real die hard fan of Test Cricket(none specific).B4 discussing nything pls know something... if there is a place to comment you can't go on say nything you like.First of all appreciate SouthAfricans as they played overall a good cricket.Pity that Indians went into a depleted Batting line up.You can't ask a Murali Vijay,Badri,Saha all new to Intl test cricket(2 Debut)to negotiate with world No:1 fast bowler Dale steyn(who is at his firing best).Even sachin (whatever u say u can't take out 20 yrs of Intl exp out of him whether he plays for India or against as told by some here) he found tough to understand his inswingers and outswingers.nd the rough created by the bowlers foot marks was well handeled by PaulHarris.(Note that Bhajji and Mishra were Bowling on a really flat track). Even though Paul Harris was Bowling a negative line(pitching outside leg stump always not encouraging the batsman to play) he handeled the situation well(think 2 yrs back Dhoni employed negative tactics against australians to counter the run flow)The negative tactics used by smith at one end showed that he was even afraid of this Depleted Indian Batting line up. He Desperately wanted to bottle up one end since he had no other spinning options.
For all those who are criticising Dhoni here is one shot.. IT IS THE FIRST EVER TEST LOSS UNDER THE CAPTAINCY OF M S DHONI.Please stop rubbishing and lets support our players through the Lean Patch.
Start constructive criticism . Pls grow up guys...

prasad the good bowling coach
by raghavendra gundachar on Feb 10, 2010 01:50 PM

you cannot judge a team's performance based on the coach only. if that is the case, you will have to blame batting coach as both batting and bowling was very disgusting. prasad was a good bowler at his peak time, other wise he wouldn't have got selected to the indian team. don't right rubbish.

prasad the great bowling coach

we suffered a lotttt under this fool prasad's bowling coaching..we always know that our only problem for years was the search for a true and genuine bowler..and with knowing these things, we have selected the great prasad (who have been pounded and buttkicked in the past especially by jayasurya and others)..there was a rumor that time..if any team come to india..or before playing with india..will enquire first "is prasad in team"...why because they will include an inform player in their team to regain his form..if monkitesh prasad was here near around me..oh..i can think of that..i would have teared him to pieces

why blame prasad for this debacle, when he is not connected with the team any more? The thing is that Sharma and Khan are both weak and slow bowlers and get tired soon. What can a bowling coach do with that kind of bowlers?

Absolutely foolish comments, India got Ist rank because of Prasad Guidance to bowler and now facing humiliation because the abscence of Prasad. It is Prasad the only bowler India ever produce in the History of Cricket who can swing the bowler on both sides and using the seam can extrack life from dead pitch, No one should forget. Let some bowler question against Prasad not some nincompoop

Poor Performance
by Babai on Feb 10, 2010 09:44 AM

Unless u have green top wickets in the domestic level it is useless to expect Indian batsmen, especially the ones making their debut to do something good. As for the pacers if they can't consistently bowl at 140 to 145 k.m. per hr their is no way in which they can take twenty wickets and win matches. The Indian pacers start their careers at that pace but once they become regular in the team their speeds drop drastically. Ishant and Irfan Pathan are good examples. Big names like Ganguly and Kumble have already retired. Two years down the line Sachin, Dravid & Laxman are likely to retire. God save the Indian team then. Come on Yuvraj, Raina, Rohit Sharma when will u guys grow up.
