Clearly we missed Dravid and Laxman. Test cricket is not just about runs but also the time spent. When shewag was on fire, he needed a perfect company like dravid who would played some 200 plus balls and then SA bowlers would have tired and then Even harbhajan,Saha, Dhoni could have got some runs in the first innings and who knows test could have been saved. Since 2000 We have not lost so badly like this. At least now people realise the importance of dravid and laxman. We were loosing like this in 1990s.

This tragic performance helps as Indians will now look beyond this bunch of nincompoops and do their homework and focus at workplace too. Thanks South Africa for this favor.
The reason for bringing in Ojha is the SA middle order have only Right handed batsman.Left arm leggie bowling around the leg stump line around the wicket is difficult to handle for Right arm batsman. The reason for mithun is the pace he bowls and the reason for Nayar is he can bowl medium and also score 30-40 runs for which he is capable of where as M.Vijay will score 30/40 runs only and cannot bowl

then why you have wasted time in posting this message so many times. You should have continued with your work rather seeing this article and writing messages. So,be true to yourselves first if you have born to an Indian
For some reason Tamil Nadu players have not performed well in test cricket. The only exception is S. Venktaragavan and to some extent K. Srikkanth. So it is time that Vijay, Badri and Dinesh vindicate their selection by solid performances. A fifty runs here and a thiry five runs there will not do. Dinesh even got out for duck against minnows Bangla team. But people from Tamil Nadu are extremely good in math and physics.

It is not a question of south or north. We need to select guys purely on merit and one who has the potential to do well against top teams. Now, domestic cricket can never be a yardstick for selection as very successful domestic players have been found wanting when faced with international teams. Guys like manish pandey and pujara who have shown admirable skilss need to be selected.
