Indian team development
by Ismail Qureshi on Jan 01, 2011 10:55 AM

I have seen once upon time, we had not fast bowler in our team, new ball sharing by Sunny and Eknath Solkar. Now, we have number of fast bowlers. Even I have seen tailainer could not contributed runs. Now, see the development of batting skill of our taialiner, like Harbajan,Ishan Sharma, lastly we have seen Zahir had contributed with bat and added vaulable 70 runs partnership with man of the match. So alround development is going on.

Sachin Is always great.. Now he has got a good team.

Those who complains its important to understand that when Tendulkar is their how there could be any pressure.

What I mean that India get into crunch situation only whwn sachin got out..

All those who said bad things about Sachin are definately Pakis..

Enough of bombarding the Cricket followers on greatness of Tendulkar. It is the greatest irony of this Nation that it celebrates the 50th century of an individual when team suffers ignominious defeat in the same match. Individual brilliance is worthless if it doesn’t help the cause of a team. Tendulkar could have collected more medals for himself in a single man game like Chess than in Cricket as he can not be a team man. It is very rare that he has altered the fate of game or fought valiantly to save India from defeat. Unlike other greats like Laxman, Dravid, Sehwag or a Miandad whose motivation is winning the match or saving it from defeat, Tendulkar’s motivation, it seems, comes from his burning desire to create records for his own glorification.

but only pakis will like sachin to perform and rest of indians fail so that India can loose more rather winning. If every indian player starts performing what is the need of sachin's century.A win is much more important than sachin's century.

A tweet says it all!
by Solomon on Jan 01, 2011 10:00 AM  | Hide replies

A tweet by a fan says it all. "Tendulkar is God, but it is Lakshman who always answers our prayers"! Need one say more! Before hitting the rough patch, it was Dravid playing that role. And the role of Kumble as our bbest match winning bowler is, of course, unaparalleled.

Sachin pressence is so charismatic that if he is their, there is no need to prayer.

Laxman is also great and save India when Sachin fails.

That what team gave is all about... whats the point..

Dear Yogesh: Charisma does not win or save matches. The saying goes, `the tough get going when the going gets tough.....'. Well Lakshman gets going when the going gets tough and that is the difference, though he does not have charisma!

I truly agree with u...We should admire players not bcus of the runs they accumulated, but how they helped team India in crisis situations...

solomon, even after kumble retirement we are doing very well. in his last year kumble was not so successful. compared to 49 wickets in 10 tests that he took in 2007 he only took 28 wickets in 2008 and realizing his time was up he retired. but even after his retirement we have been winning even more. dont forget under dhoni how we have won regularly. even the couple of times he was unfit and sehwag took over we won then also. so retirement of kumble has not made much difference. in fact we are winning more test matches after his retirement.

please understand that dhoni has won 14 tests out of 23 without having kumble as a bowler for a SINGLE test!

Yes Sanjay, you need not pray. Prayers to save or win will go unanswered. The tweet has hit it on the nail......
