India is blessed with match winners which is
by India on Jan 01, 2011 02:05 PM

most important than personal records.......

Personal record which is not winning us match is inconsequential...However 96 by Laxman is more important than double or tripple century....30 odd run scored by Zaheer is equal to a century...
What a player does in crunch situation or rising to ocassion is most important

Sachin needs to be respected but he is hyped beyond importance to Indian victory which is single biggest thing

Check this out:
sachinandcritics.Xom

Replace X with c. You will find all the answers for your questions.

Selfish are players like Ajay Jadeja and azharuddin. Sachin is a true patriotic indian. He carries the hope of 100 crore people when he goes out to bat in the middle. The pressure of expectation from is tremendous. His status in india is next only to god but still he is so down to earth. I salute this legend from my heart and my soul.
LONG LIVE SACHIN

Hollowness of Greatness
by mandar on Jan 01, 2011 12:35 PM

Enough of bombarding the Cricket followers on greatness of Tendulkar. It is the greatest irony of this Nation that it celebrates the 50th century of an individual when team suffers ignominious defeat in the same match. Individual brilliance is worthless if it doesn’t help the cause of a team. Tendulkar could have collected more medals for himself in a single man game like Chess than in Cricket as he can not be a team man. It is very rare that he has altered the fate of game or fought valiantly to save India from defeat. Unlike other greats like Laxman, Dravid, Sehwag or a Miandad whose motivation is winning the match or saving it from defeat, Tendulkar’s motivation, it seems, comes from his burning desire to create records for his own glorification.

yes sreeshant is a good learner and he can bowl according to situations. But should stop unwanted aggressions...!

Actually Ishant is blessed with his hight, but not taking advantage of the height in SA.
