is this topic relevant enough in a time when everything in this country is going out of hand. look at the scams, rising prices of onions, tomatoes, petrol etc, and increasing crime in delhi and everywhere. pls. come forward and if could not do anything, at least condemn these wrongful acts of the govt. pls stand up for common people. fight for our rights. make an effort to stop all this if you all are really a proud indian.
how can u compare sir donald with any body and for that matter sachin with any body, don bradman forced the english to think of body line, which i am sure sachan can not handle without his protective gear like helmet, elbow guard shin guard et el, do we think sachin can face shoib akhtar withoue his protectve gear, limitation on bouncers, ban on beamers and civered wickets, don faced jardin on uncovered pitches, unlimited bouncers, beamers without helmet and elbow guard, similarly who other than sachin can withstand the pressure of expectation of a billion people, the scrutiny of media and endless criticism of ignorant critics
Surely tendulkar is better than bradman as bradman played with a winning possibility and confidence against weaker bowling sides and the little master played the game against stronger bowling sides with mostly loosing possibility.Hv guts to admit.

your criteria of greatness is the quality of bowlers faced by batsman.then gavaskar will be the best.he had to face geoff thomson, dennis lillie, garner, marshall, holding, roberts and so on even without helmet on earlier days of his carrier

You are right!
I want to pose some questions:
Has SRT played against the quality of Roberts, Thomson, Lillie, Sir Hadlee, Imran, Snow, Willis, Holding, Marshal, Garner, Croft, Pascoe, Calrke and others?
Has he played a single match on uncovered wickets?
Has he played any match without wearing a helmet that too against super quick like the ones mentioned above?
What is contribution to the fourth innings score of India. Fourth innings batting means defeat or draw.

Neither did Don Brad played against the bowlers mentioned by you.
But SRT played againt the greats like Marshal, Imran, Walsh, Ambrose, Waker, Wasim, Donald, McGrath, McDarmot, Warny, Murali, Lee, Akhtar, Pollock, Steyn.... and so on.....
Bradman may be the Best but Sachin is better than Best... Forget about Runs Scored... Just think surviving for 20 long years is itself a achievement... Sachin is Quite better than the Best

Mr. if he wanted to play for money means he shouldn't have missed ODI Matches Since Feb 2010. He wanted to be fit for 2011 WC Victory.

You Please Pay for Money, We don't mind and we will worship you too, if you can get any where near to him... Stupid
HAI FRIENDS THIS IS KRANTHI BRADMAN PLAYED MOST OF THE MATCHES IN AUSIS AND ENGLAND ONLY. IN THAT ALSO THERE IS NO TECHNOLOGY TO ANALYSE BATSMAN WEEKNESS AND MORE OVER THYERE IN NO SUCH TYPE OF SHEDULES LINE WT I NDIA PLAYING. MORE OVER SACHIN IS PLAYING IN A GREAT PRESSURE ALWAYS,BCS ALL OF THE INDIANS EACH AND EVERY TIME LOOKING FOR HIS CENTUARY WHEN HE IS GOING TO BAT. IN THIS GENERATION ALSO THERE IS A GREAT BOWLERS LIKE MCGRATH,SHANEWARN,MURALI,WALSH,AKRAM,WAQUAR,DONALD,SHANEBOND,BREATLEE.......SOOO ON,
SO TELL ME THE FRIEND WHY U ARE COMPARING ALWAYS SACHIN AND BROADMAN... U MUST REMEMBER ONE THING AT THE TIME OF SACHING (ENTRYLEVEL) BROADMEN SAYS SACHIN IS PLAYING LIKE ME, IF BROADMEN STILL LIVE THEN HE IS AGREE THAT SACHIN IS GREAT BATSMEN INTHE WORLD FOREVER AND EVER.
SO STOPP THE COMPARISONS AND UNNECESSARY COMMENTS ALSO AG SACHIN.
WE HAVE TO RPUD BCZ WE ARE BIRTH IN SACHIN GENERATION AND WE ARE SEEING HIS BATING.

Bradman was always an gentleman,u r talking abt australia and england where he played most of his career matches, for ur kind information in those days those are the only venue avail for every team. secondly today cricket is more batsman friendly, in test cricket also most of the time matches end on draw. Tell me how many match v play in SA,AUS, NZ ENG. After 2006/07 v have this SA tournament, Whereas SA came here 2 time in this period. Our Most of the series are either in subcontinent dead wicket, or in india. Also in the same match SA given there only 4 wickets, in which Kallis scored 201 runs, person who scored maximum of his century in sporting , bouncy track. 2003 final u know he scored 4 runs against, y he failed there, and most of the time he failed when v need him. And yes u r talking abt technology, technology today are more favourable to Batsman not a bowler.

bradman was facing bowlers without helmet, arm guard and thigh pads.indian batsmen during 1960-1970 was doing so.it's really difficult in doing so. record of fastest tripple hundred was safe for almost 60 years until viru broke it in2008
bradman was a home pitches bully hyped by media... no player can be considered great by playing 10-12 days of international cricket every year over 20 years against his friends... bradman wont make the top 10 batsman ever for get about being the best... as for sachin... he is the greatest ever... no one else comes close...
Re: debate is useless...
by deadman on Dec 23, 2010 04:28 PM
bloody useless.kallis,kp&ponting have better conversion rate than sachin.the fact is that most of the players start international carrier at 20s.SRT was fortunate that he started his carrier at 16
