Great performance
by BIMALSONY GOPINATHAN on Dec 20, 2010 05:47 PM  | Hide replies

The weather got the best of the pitch conditions on day one, then our bowling was not that great even though Udhkat was looking good, Srishant needs more pace his line is great, Ishant was all over the place. Batting in second innings was a great fight back, although Raina should have shown more confidence and determination. Brilliant work by Sachin and Dhoni. Totally enjoyed the fight back, well done India and take those fighting skills to boxing day. BEST OF LUCK

A team is truly #1 when it wins despite the bad luck ( as you believe in good luck and bad luck) or being on wrong foot.

So please do not try to justify the defeat. India lost because SA played better and is better team on pitches that have bounce and pace. No doubt about that.

INDIAN only applauds sachins achievment of fifth hundred,
by SHAILENDRA KUMAR on Dec 20, 2010 05:47 PM

Team performance and achievements are secondary in front of personal achievements and records. The public of india also have the liking for such performances unlike Australians. Personal records are not given more value in place of teams winning.

Sachin does not score runs, he gets hard time from Indian public
He scores runs, he still gets hard time by Indian public.
This is ridiculous.

Just one defeat and all the good forgotten. I pity those cricketers who represent us. They were clearly undone by the rained pitch than by a superior team, yet they fought. The public, whose mind will capitulate at the face of adversity, project themselves on cricketers. Pity...

What good have they done except for lining their pockets in idiotic T-20 shows which have no meaning.Once they go outside we see their real colours. In the last 3 years what major tournaments have we woo T20 world cup-miserable losses, champion trophy -knocked out in first round.
So do not blame the public.
It is all media and commercial hype,no substance

True true. then let me ask you- What good have you done for India? You are out to blame other Indians. Nobody asked you to spend your money and time to watch T20.

MS Dhoni the worst
by SKM Prasad on Dec 20, 2010 05:26 PM  | Hide replies

Useless Dhoni,

Stage is always bumpy or jagged for the guys who don’t know how to dance. Same thing is applicable to you DHONI….

You are doing nothing for HINDUSTAN…spoiling its name..

Its all because of corrupted BCCI / SRIKANT..

We need talented captains like KAPIL DEV / SAURAV GANGULY…..

Defeat by innings yet our media celebrate Sanchin's 50th ton
by Bowrie RK on Dec 20, 2010 05:16 PM  | Hide replies

Don't think readers are that crazy about Sachin's 50 century. It's the media who has gone nuts about it. Imagine India losing by an innings margin and yet all the newspapers and TV channels go ga ga over Sachin's feat.Such madness can b seen only in our cricket crazy print and electronic media. Cricket has become a big business because of the media hype and corporatte backing not because people desire.

After Sachin got 100, he just stopped to hit the run, he is shows once again his irresponsiblity. If he really tries, atleast we could avoid the innings defeat...

Cant agree with u. If bhajji had played sensibly, Tendulkar could have tried taking the risks. There was no one to stand by him...how can u blame 1 person? Bhajji is also a centurian..just in the last test.
