1% of jokers/losers abusing the rediff discussion form
by ramamurthy on Dec 20, 2010 06:57 PM  | Hide replies

1% of losers, who doesnot even holding the cricket bat, talk like pandits of cricket.

these jokers, sorry sachin haters will continue keep barking and they love to l**k white's back as they did before independence. Sachin continues to perform with same dedication that he carried on for 21 years.

just ignore this jokers(sachin haters) by not responding to them

WHAT IS SO GREAT!!!!
by mahesh mahesh on Dec 20, 2010 06:55 PM  | Hide replies

This misplaced adulation is absolute stupidity!!!

No doubt sachin is a great batsmen and a wonderful humble person which quality is unparallell by any one!!! But that does not mean that he is the ultimate.

Even in his lean season he was not dropped even once.Playing in 175 tests and over 440 ODI, even others can reach this feat.

On bad season Dravid was dropped from ODI.Even others have been dropped for one season failure but not sachin.

Look at Kallis and Pointing is just behind him in much lesser matches.

Even Dravid has scored 12,000 runs which have either won or saved India unlike Sachin's runs including this 50.

Since Cricket is hardly played in about 12 nations, how can it be a WORLD RECORD!!!

this of sheer gimmicks bt Advertisers and Media.

Today there is no mention of Dravid's 12,000, what a partiality?

My friend i would want to say that its always the first person who is rememberd not the second one, Sachin scored 12000 runs much before, but yes if Rahul had maintained his form i would have scored it much earlier.
Dont you think at the age of 37 and scoring 7 hundreds in a year is something which no one can think of. Look at the guys dedication, look at how he feels for the country, he is ready to dive at this age also when he is fielding. Just bow down man to him, and thank god that you are born in the era of Sachin Tendulkar.

I wudnt call it misplaced adulation but i would say the others have been deprived or have not got their due share of adulation and admiration. I am an ardent worshipper of Sachin and I firmly believe there is no one better than him. Only thing tat is bothering me is the way he handled the 5th day of the test. I know it was impossible for India to even come closer to hav saved this match but I think Sachin was still capable of surpassing their score and making the Proteas bat again. He made no effort to guard Sreesanth, Unakdat or India's pride. If at all there was someone who could hav saved us from an innings defeat, It was he !!!

With total dedication he has scored 50 hundreds -- so what?
by Michael DSa on Dec 20, 2010 06:52 PM  | Hide replies

Ponting and Kallis drink, party and enjoy too much. If they had to maintain same dedication like Sachin, where would have they been? Maybe each guy by now would have scored 75 hundreds at least. Sachin is drinking only MILK and totally dedicated to this Cricket....what a joke on who is the best. It is Sachins dedication and not talent. These guys have the real talent.

I can tell one fact---you are complete failure in life. That is why you are always thinking in terms of what if? Things do not become real just by day dreaming with if and buts.
But that is you character, so no complain.

Once again captain cool dhoni gives a tight slap on all his detractors' faces. idiots who said that dhoni is not a batsman at all and he cant play in pressure conditions against good attack in bowling friendly pitches overseas saw what dhoni is capable of. but i suppose these fools will never understand dhoni's capabilities and go on barking. some people never learn.

once again dhoni leads from the front and shows his fighting spirit and never-say-die attitude. thankfully for sachin he had the cool, calming and assuring presence of his captain at the other end. dhoni guided a nervous tendulkar prone to getting out soon in such situations and helped him overcome his nerves. the normally nerves prone tendulkar assured by his courageous captain at the other end started to flower for once in difficult conditions. unfortunately dhoni got a brilliant delivery and was out. but sachin got his century thanks to dhoni at the other end. if dhoni was not there at the other end all this time sachin would again have got out with some stupid shot and not lasted till 100 at least in these conditions.

You are fooling yourself by making such statement--I am the MD of my company. Do u thing people will believe u?
I am surprised that a guy who do not know the difference between plans and day- dreaming can be a MD of any company. that is because this is also coming out of your imagination. I think u must see a doc soon.

who stops them? criticism and negative thinking is not answer to jelousey.

India did not produce another Sachin tendulkat in last 21 years because he is unique cricketer.

Common cricketers and unique cricketers are different from each other he has achieved that no one has achieved before is reality.
Accept this and enjoy.

Love it or hate it. You can never leave this icon out of your minds. People who understand cricket can't stop thinking great about this super human and people who do not understand C of cricket still talk about him. On behalf of all cricket loving people of the world I salute the true legend Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar. True simply because the way he has approached his game with utmost dignity and passion for the game. Imagine working in the same company for 22 years, we are bound to get fed up. But to go out and face the cricket ball match after match shouldering the burden of millions of fans, for 22 years its truly amazing. No player ever runs behind records. Its vice versa. You play to your potential everything else falls in its place.

As Sachin himself mentioned if he was after records he wouldn't have skipped so many matches and series. If he had done that by this time god knows what the figures look like. We salute you Sachin. You have brought smiles to millions in times of their unhappiness.

Draem on boys and girls.
by Sushil Sharma on Dec 20, 2010 06:46 PM

No wonder there is any energy left. As all the SA commentators pointed out about Sharma’s bowling action, which even to the naked eyes of us ordinary mortals, appears to be all wrong. His left shoulder drops too early and, therefore is not able to bowl tall thus extracting bounce – an essential requirement for a fast bowler. Besides, what with all the necklaces around his neck, no wonder he is hardly able to keep himself upright let alone bowl upright (not to forget unhygienic mess). Don’t forget that he is of the same height as Morkel.
The whole thing stinks of corruption just like everything else in India and what baffles me is everyone accepts it as fait accompli. So, there we have it. I predict that India would be home 0-2 down, guys. No 1 position in the world – please don’t pull my legs!!!!!!
