Randiv is a negative minded player. Even in last test he bowled too much around legs of batsmen & T'kar & laxman made good use of it to accumulate the required runs. Yday he again showed his mental illness by bowling the delibrate no-ball.If ne1 recall how Rantunga managed to get the bad light decision in a 1dayer when India was sure of winning it. Tht time sachin guranteed him of bowing his spinners only to finish the match but he was reluctant to play.

You call yourself a Dravidian and lick the feet of Sri Lankans who killed many of you. Do you have any shame?
Yesterday Randiv batted well and he was desperately all over the place while fielding also. He would have thought if Srilanka won he would be the HERO. When nothing worked the only last option was to deprive Shewag (An Awesome batsman) a century. The greatness of Shewag is that he takes it in his stride. Shewag is very right in condoning the wrong theaterics. If you have watched the presentation ceremony you would have noticed how the fluent srilankan captain when asked about the NO BALL issue was scrambling for words........ POOR GUY.....WHAT A PITY
Start a fairplay award in one dayers like IPL and give a sizeable amount of prize money for the same at the end of the tournament... and yes ban Randiv from IPL let the world know how much they stand to lose when they mess with Indian cricketers...BCCI has the money power, this is the right way to use it...

More than a fair play award.... you must suspend the player for the remaining part of the series and knock of 50% of his match fee. Thats the only solution to bring in discipline. Or else you will only be getting FAIR PLAY AWARDS but end up loosing the match

Idio*t fellow already these cricketers are making unimaginable fortune and u want to add some more money to their kitty is it! Dumb fellow pour all ur hard earned money onto this fit for nothing cricketers and let nation go to dogs and people die of poverty... give constructive ideas gumbo
What Sri Lanka did was within the rules so it is fine. Even Sehwag appealed for handling the ball when Vaughan just picked it up to give it to a fielder.Vaughan was given out.But whatever say it was a great knock by a great batsman. But again it a wierd rule as the ball was still in play.Even 1 run is needed and someone hits a six 6 runs are given.

Get your facts, you moron. This is from an article. This is from Telegraph, UK newspaper/website.
"Attempting a sweep, the Yorkshire batsman failed to connect with a Sarandeep Singh delivery and when the ball trickled off his pads underneath his body he grabbed it with his right hand to prevent it rolling onto the stumps."
He didnt try to pick up the ball to give it to the fielder.

Have a look at the clipping.if u get a chance. The ball nevr tricked under his pads it was well in front of him. He used his hand to throw it towards the short leg fielder. It is not on Youtube or else I would have u the link.U watch it and decide for yourself.
we tried to help these ravanas with ipkf since 1987 to kill our own rama senas. politically even the UN knows the atrocities of the ravanas. and they have spread gtheir innocuous behaviour into sports as well..like how we boycotted pakis, we should do teh same with the ravanas as well..
SL will out-beat Aussie and Pakistan in bringing terrible reputation to this century old game. Let’s not mix it up with aggressive and belligerence that is totally different, but Off spinner deliberate rebuff of a coveted century to sewhag is highly inexcusable. What is the Point in shaking hands if you don't intent to.
its part of modern day cricket, now its no more a gentleman game, but as we say in love and war everything is right, so what wrong Randiv has done. Shewag has also done similar thing when south africa were fighting to save a test match in india and shewag just help the ball to cross the boundary. But as shewag said no controversy, so no controversy...

What kind of thinking is this.... was he trying to save the match so bowled no-ball ensuring that Umpire calls it so...

Miviu:
The point is that the actions were deliberate in both instances, whether to save the match or not is a secondary issue...
When you start justifying "to save the match" or to "win the match" you are basically saying that the end is more important than the means... which exactly what Sportsman spirit is not about...

but, how about if a batsman playing with a tail ender, he always takes single of the last ball inspite of not taking singles and three runs deliberately during the first 5 balls of an over..what sehwag did wrt SA was right..but what suraj did is an open nonsense..

Dharan:
Preventing a batsman from scoring odd runs by deliberately easing the ball across the boundary is not equivalent to preventing a batsman from scoring 1 run to complete his century? How?
