There was one run to win and suraj randiv bowled a no-ball. The ball was clattered for a six, a six of a no ball means seven runs the score should read as seven runs to the batting side six to the batsman. Sehwag should right fully get six the descision should be reversed. All said it was a fine innings what ever be the descision.

Since there was no game after the no ball, the runs on this ball does not count. But ICC should consider this issue to avoid such repeaded actions.
poor display of sportsmanship by the Lankan team. Sangakara who lays the claim to being one of the best batsman should have known better.
also i am surprised at the treatment given to Munaf. He is rushed to the place and not played. This will surely destroy his confidence. this is the second time it has happened to him. And numerous time to indian bowlers. BCCI should take their reserve policy very seriously.

Calling a player on urgent basis does not mean that he should get a place in the final eleven. He is only a reserve player.
One stupid Joynandan Haldar from Thailand wrote in TOI that Srikanth fans are keping quiet in this issue. I wrote many comments immediately criticising Randiv and praising Shewag. We think pof India and crooks like Joynandan thinks of his place only. What a shame.

Srikanth himself is a big fan of Sehwag. Anway, there are lot of stupid, half educated Indians who write lots of crap comments. Dont mind them.
Re: It wasnt Randiv, but Dhobi that denied Sehwag the century

That was certainly not the case today. Did you even watch the match? Dhoni did take singles in the previous over. Regarding Sachin's 199, Dhoni hit some boundaries in that over when Sachin was stranded. Come on dude, it's ok to criticize somebody but don't misrepresent facts please!

one sec , sachin was on 199 for almost 3 overs. didnt get strike for almost 3 overs.Dhobi hit boundaries etc and took single off last delivery of 3 overs in a row.
But last nights match -- yes Dhobi did support Sehwag. there were no singles that weren't talem when sehwag was on 99. If they attempted for those singles one of themwould have been out.

Are you trying to say that Dhoni supported Sehwag and was trying to let down Sachin?

Dhoni did not take single in the previous over and gave chance to Shewag. Moreover there were many balls to spare. Your comments show you have to go to a mental hospital.
improve the technology and amend the law of cricket. purposeful committment of a mistake to intentionally deny someone from achieving milestone should be cosidered as a breach of law and should be amended. This will not allow any other cricketers like Randiv to misuse law and spoil the spirit of the game. well done sehwag to balance the target and performance without any adventure as it wasn't required. good work by the indian team in general for this deserving victoy.

Cricket is called a gentleman's game, however over the last few years we have seen aggressive behaviour and attitudes that need to be curtailed. There is a show of aggressiveness and anguish which plays spoilsport. When Sehwag was deprived of a much deserved century this fact was proved. The bowler will be let off without any warning which will definitely result in more such shows of cowardice. The law should definitely be amended to ensure that if the ball is counted so should the runs be. what if the score was required 4 runs and a noball was bowled with the batsman needing 4 runs to reach a hundred would they consider only 3 runs to the batsman and one run to the total? Though the cogs were put in place by other batsmen, Sehwag's role was crucial as he was at the helm for the entire duration. Kudos to India's bowling too that has been under fire in the recent past. The spinners too joined the part on this occassion and made it an overall joyous occassion marred by this unwanted controversy.
I have seen live telecast and when asked by the Danny Morrisson about the incident he has taken it lightly without showing any personal thing. He is such a great cricketer who not worry about personal records and hit sixes to complete his and any indians first triple century. Great player and cricketing temprament.
If SL has Randiv, we have our own 'gentlemen' - Bhajji and Sreesanth. When we have skeletons in our cupboard, its advisable not to raise ruckus over this one incident.
