They should get back Irfan Pathan instead of Ravindra Jadega.....I dont know why Jadega is choosen....he has not done any justice to be in Indian team....

I think its more to do with his bowling performance. He has been a decent restrictive bowler when compared to irfan

I agree with Indian as Jadeja performs not very better than Irfan but Irfan is definitely a better batsman than the former. G.Chappell spoilt Irfan's rhythm or else he would have shined well in both departments

No we good bowling attack but selector not good bowler....
by krishna mhettar on Aug 10, 2010 10:39 AM

Ishant sharma & Ravindra jadeja not deserve to be in Indian team. We have already three spin bowling all rounder in team still they select Ravindra jadeja why? Irphan Pathan is good option why they are neglecting him at least it better option than ravindra jadeja he is medium pacer he can bat also in difficult condition.

Indian bowling is in dire straits.... I sometimes wonder how consistently is pakistan able to find bowlers with such xplosive calibre..their recently skittled austalia for a meagre 88 allout , no wonder they are always let down by batsmen....

First and foremost is to understand that India is not bowling. Some individuals are playing at international level. It is high time to reduce the cricket fever so that poor Indians hard earned money is not cornered into certain pockets.

Ramdas Nayak
Laxman
by Ramdas Nayak on Aug 10, 2010 10:17 AM

Laxman has shown that how a positive display in batting will help the team. Sadly seniors like Dravid and Tendulkar played nervous cricket when in pressure in spite of the fact that they had scored more than 11,000 runs against best bowlers of opposite side. Sehwag may be over doing his flamboyance but we need a cricketer like him on top. Dravid lacks confidence but not lost his class. He should be given little space to regain his touch.

Munaf and Mishra

I had lot of hope when Munaf Patel and Amit Mishra came into the scene. I really wished that they were future Test players for us. But unfortunately they are not able to live up to the expectations.

Grep Chappal inspired Munaf to bowl like Glen McGrath..so Munaf lost his deadly pace also..and is now bowling at a much slower speed..

True. Munaf is bowling like a spinner. RP Singh bowls well once in blue moon and Irfan Pathan's pace may put even women cricketers to shame. Kiran More's comments that they were not allowed to settle are absurd. We can not afford to keep non performing bowlers in the team for ever expecting them to improve.
