YES FOR SURE!
by Sanjay on Aug 09, 2010 07:32 PM

We lack pace attack and our spinners have been 'sussed'. We need some new talent in this area and some further training in talent like Munaf or Ishant.

WE HAVE ENOUGH BOWLING OPTION. BUT DHONI IS NOT USING THEM PROPERLY. HE SHOULD USE RAINA, ROHIT, YUVI ALSO. THEY ARE GOOD ALLROUNDERS....! WHY SHOULD WE DEPEND ON THE PACE BOWLERS.... FOR THE NEW BALL, WE HAVE PRAVIN KUMAR AND NEHRA.... BUT PRAVIN KUMAR SHOULD PLAY ALL THE POSSIBLE MATCHES... HE CAN BAT A BIT TOO.....!

SPENT FORCE
by Moses Joseph on Aug 09, 2010 07:18 PM

One by one, bowlers are becoming India's spent force. Cricket academies, coaches and selectors should find India's revitalised forces and revived young forces in bowling.

Urgent need to create Indian fast bowlers!!
by Proud Indian on Aug 09, 2010 07:08 PM  | Hide replies

Today in the news some lady has won gold in shooting world cup.. We heard some time back same stories about boxing. Well, these 2 sports are being sponsored by corporates, the latter one from Mittal Trust belonging to Lakshmi Mittal. This MRF Pace Academy has failed miserably and has only produced one Zaheer Khan and honed the skills of Lasith Malinga. The BCCI is also in the same boat as Indian Olympic Association as they are involved in looting whatever money comes to them in whatever form possible, so this mad rush to be office bearers by seasoned politicians, in the last 60 or more years there is no single real fast bowler while the tiny country of Sri Lanka is producing them a dime a dozen and what to tell about Pakistan ??? Look they are blooding 17 year olds !! There is need for the Ambanis or Tatas or anyone else to enter this field urgently.. the fast bowling field ?? What are Sahara and Hero Honda doing ?? Well, if the shorty Chinese can make world champions, so can we !!!

about a India-Pak team !
by Proud Indian on Aug 09, 2010 07:01 PM  | Hide replies

Ya, what an incredible team that would be with Mohammed Amir, Mohd Asif, Umar Gul and Ajmal bowling and Sachin, Sehwag, Dravid, Gambhir, Dhoni batting and also Malinga bowling and Sangakarra and Jayawardane batting as Sri Lanka also was part of India in the first place !! Just daydreaming !!!

Yes, Should send such a combined team to play in Australia, New Zeland, UK and South Africa. It will be a good idea and the three cricket Boards should jointly work on it. No politics please! And so, SriLankan Board should take the lead as a country neutral to India and Pak.
