Will Shewag again try to hit a 6 first ball to get to his 100? Maybe after he retires he will realize that he could have had 3-4 more 100s if he was patient for 10 more minutes! Also he could have been the only player ever to have 3 * 300s (remember he got out in the 290s once?) :-) But without this style Viru would not be Viru. Hope that luck is with the man. dada, I think that is what makes Viru what he is. He never cares. About looking back and thinking whether he could have scored 3-4 more 100s, I think if he looks back he will think how he got out when he could have hit that ball for a six !! Yesssire, that's what he will think, I swear! God will give him records, he just has to continue creating mayhem like he does.

yup he won't mind missing the tons because he makes all his runs with shots like these. He had once said that if he starts playing defencieve he'd be out on '0'. After Sachin he's the only one I like to watch. When he's on the crease it's like a show of Tom and Jerry! ;)
Both of these aging players need to take retirement and plan benefit match for some charity. They are unfit in the fielding and hardly matchwinners in T20 or ODI formats. Now they have failed misrably test matches too. Why is Yuvraj sitting on the bench and these two playing? Loooks like Idli-Sambhar politics to me ....
People should not compare dhony with great captain ganguly. dhony is doing nothing for indian cricket but getting name. he never played when team in crises. indian bowler are not in position to take 20 wickets in match.

Agree with you totally. Dhobi is a useless player without proper technique.Whenever openers give India very good start he'll promote himself ,whenever team is in trouble he'll hide behind yuvi's a.s.s

Dhobi is sacred to promote himself in test ahead of raina, which he does in ODI very often.
If Kirmani had been playing in this era, we would have won many more test matches.

lol..first thing is earlier Dhoni was riding on his luck. Whatever he would do would do good for him but now it doesn't happen any more. Example..he has lost the toss in successive 8 matches. But..do we have any other option? I don't think so. Whatever he is but he keeps his cool on the field and that is what a captain should be. No one in the team looks like to be a captain; not Sehwag, no Gambhir, forget about Yuvi and don't even think about Sachin. So...do we have any other player who is playing regularly, have consistency in his game, doesn't involve in controveries and keeps his cool on the field?

Look,apart from keeping cool,he takes the responsibility and initiative....tries to be innovative. Look at his average.. around 44 in tests which is really good for a wkt keeper batsman...also his number of innings to fifties ratio in tests is as good as Sachin... these mental cases are blatantly biased...

viru is gr8 but he is not as gr8 as Viv Richards. with Viru the bowler has a chance to get his wicket but with Viv Richards it is one way traffic. Bowler will always be murdered.

For me Shewag is a FTB. I will change my mind about Viru if he can consistently play like this on pace and bouncy pitches.
with due respect to sachin , comparing sachin with sehwag is just ridiculous. to all sachin haters when sachin was a6t his peak he had to play aggressively, control the entire innings and had to bat for longer periods. now sehwag is given the freedom to play the way he wants. just tell sehwag that the entire team is dependent on u and u have to play cautiously without losing ur wicket do u all think he can play like this. lastly iam a great fan of sehwag but would he have withstood the pressures sachin faced from the people and a mediocre team in 90s( amre, manjrekar, kanitkar, devang gandhi, prabhakar) i seriously doubt?

You can't see a more selfish cricketer than Sachin..remember the test against Pakistan when Dravid declared?Despite being a senior member this schoolboy Sachin was crying and even said something to the media...
Don;t know why Vijay Murali is keep on getting the opportunities. He failed miserably even on a flat pitch. He is so scared of Malinga and always want to be on Non Strikers end when Malinga bowls. It is unfortunate that Srikanth is showing too much bias and showing lot of regional feelings by selecting Murali Vijay. There are lot of players who are far better than Vijay and they can be given the opportunity. There are players like Rahane, Rayudu, Uthappa, Pujara, Manish Pandey etc who can play far better than Vijay. Unfortunate that Srikanth is selecting Viajy for tests and keep on selecting Dinesh Karthik for ODIS

We need to have patience in terms of giving chance to cricketer. Look back the history, see how many times sachin, Azar gave chance to their state players. Vijay and Karthick are real talents. Karthick started playing well in the last two ODI series. You cannot simply sack a cricketer with some international experience and also they are not too bad. Hang on guys.

lol. these players who you have listed other than uthappa have not faced quality fast bowling enough. They will be in the same boat as vijay. The boat that sachin was once in when he started his career and later on viru when he started his. How easy indian fans forget.
sachin does not want to prove anyone he is the best as already he is the best player world hav ever seen ....viru is the most destructive player after sir vivian richards..dhoni is simply doing nothin n simply gettin the credit..useless player dhoni..
