yes. But even if he gets it people would say its too late and only one WC and all those stuff. They would comapare then with Ricky's and Jacques's idiots... One word to describe SRT is Phenomenon and God Sent for Cricket beyond the Don Bradman's... All others are mere mortals...

Oomshik Tooshik:
Apart from scoring runs and contributing to the team, what else do you want him to do for winning?
Dance at the square leg boundary? Drink your home made Amrutanjan? Or ensure that you are playing in all the matches to coach him and score more than him? :)

since 2007 he has averaged more than 65 in test & 14 100s in just 60 innings!! 1 100 in ever 4 innings & 2.7 tests since 2007!! & after crossing 35 he has bagged 9 100s in just 22 tests, one every 2 and a half yr!!! stunning & 5 in 6 tests & the missed also scored close to 100.. 84.. like gambhir scored 5 out of 5 in 2008.. but he has scored at 27 while sachin at 37.. stunning

one every 2 and a half test**!!!.. 9 100s in 21 tests..improved avg from 54 to over 56 in last 2-3 yrs
sachin has started to bore all the viewers and spectators in india. people have had enough of him and its time he hung his boots and call it a day. he is blocking some other talented and young players chance of playing for the country and making some money also.

Can you name one such talented player who is not being given chance because of him? Think before you speak.
Re: personal records

correct. But SRT has many useful records. why bother with winning. let us enjoy his records

by Ravinder Paul on Aug 04, 2010 09:57 AM
hey don't say like this, still he is playing more than a youngster. now a days no youngstr can beat him in any field. when he will realize, he will leAVE the job himself
People who blaming Sachin not winning world cup but they forget that this is 11 memeber game not like hockey and football where one or two goal are sufficient. In world cup 1996 and 2003 he single handed take Indian into semifinal and final, but our other players fails to delivered 100%. SO he is a icon in Indian cricket still he enable to win world cup for India.
How he can win if ur blowing standard are like a club team?

A True Great Player has to play in the crunch games and that is where the true worth of the great player comes from.. E.g. Wasim Akram, Pointing, Javed Miadad, Arvinda D'silva, Arjuna Ranatunga etc...

Monteiro:
Very true. The second test against Pakistan, Ponting played an absolute beauty to ensure that Pakistan broke the string of defeats they couldn't avoid in the past 15 years.. ;-)

Re: Re: hi
by Anirban Nag on Aug 04, 2010 10:09 AM
why 8 years less? he played from 1984 to jan 2004.. more than 19 yrs while sachin a bit less than 21 yrs.. so just a bit over 1 year more than steve.. nothing else man.. got it? rectify ur information/data
sachin is peerless in the achivements. lets not compare individuals from different eras. any of these sportspersons deserve their due. hats off to the little master!
