Mr.Thackrey, When you ask Sachin to stick on to Cricket and not to talk about politics, better you mind your politics and dont suggest for cricket. I know you have better business to look into.

Thackerey is justing making his anti-Gujrati feelings clear...nothing else makes sense. Left to him he will even recommend Kambli or dada Khondke for IPL. And what gives the great Bala-saheb of Enron-fame the moral authority to talk about corruption?? It is as hilarious as Rahul-baba talking about merit over dynastic politics!!

It is typical Thackerey- any M Manoos from the backyard will do ranting which his fans love (as is apparent in some postings here)
are talking as if the present Mumbai is the result of the efforts of Maharashtrians only. Mumbai (Bombay) was made famous by the Europeans as a port city, and its growth was triggered by the inflow of entrepreneurs and labourers from all over India. The local language of Mumbai is a mixture of Marathi, Hindi, Tamil, Urudu, Gujarathi etc. If we take out the contributions of non-marathis from the history of Mumbai, the result would be disgusting- at the least.
