agree with you..but he is one of most contriversial person.. people like Thakery only speaks when the see any benefits in this or when they wants to highlight themselves.. He never speaks directly for his benefits
How does it matter who replaces who in IPL?..the corrution shall go on unhindered.Nobody even the central govt can stop it simply because most ministers are involved in it neck deep with the underworld.It is simply too much money for the politician to let go.

IPL would have been a hit anyway, it was just a copy of ICL, it was just that ICL was not supported by ICC and could not come in mail league, take away all star power from IPL and let the teams play with retired or discarded domestic players see the results yourself.

Just idea doesn;t give result. Successful implementaion is more imprtant thing which is done by intelligent man modi with help of BCCI. Even ICL idea is not original one. They also copy it from SA/NZ/Eng where this type of domestic T20 league was present even before ICL.

Brijeh Patel has played and won many matches for India . He understand the game well , he has been a good administrator at KSCA as well as very fine businessman over past decade . He has a very clean image both in business as well as cricket world. He has a very good business accumen, he would have been an ideal choice to promote the troubled IPL to next level
Neither Kapil nor Gavaskar are fit for this post..reason being they were great cricketers of their time..and in fact fact their legacy has still not been filled in Indian cricket. But for this post, either u need a nincompoop like Amin or a street-fighter (literally) like Modi who can generate revenues for Pawar! BTW...why r we tolerating the crooked-faced and crooked-hearted Pawar for pete's sake..he is the real mastermind after all?
I am not a supporter of CSK..but still,i feel that Gavaskar and Shastri are 100% biased in IPL 2010.They were worshipping MI and Tendulkar(i know ,how their mouths were shut in 2008 and 2009)...shastri reluctantly refused to name the CSK players during award ceremony and Gavaskar said,next time MAX symbol in mike should be in blue color so that MI will win. Indian team now has distributed players unlike GAVSKAR time.I can guess the bias.Even after 2007 world cup Ganguly and Dravid were thrown out...Tendulkar was kept in the team,wen all 3 were permomed at same level..
I hate the politics done by organisers and sony max to make Mumbai comedians as winners...

You look like a typical regional fanatic & narrowminded guy from north. Doublestandrad bastrad with no morale. When ur own dhobi does regionalism by giving all unfair cahnce to northy friends, u keep ur mouth shut. But u keep putting allegation on mumbai players. Fact remains that mumbai won ranji triphy 37 times inluding alst one, produced max no. of world classs players & also smart players like gavaskar, shatri who were not just good players but also smart players with good communication skill. Mumbai is next folllowed by Banglore(Karnataka)/TN/Andhra in terms of player quality & administration. But all these mumbai players are far better than these average & dumb northys who only believe in regionalism & nothing more. BCCI is in mumbai thats why professionaly managed, highly profit making & also players are getting rich. also selection is almost 90% fair. Threre may be some corruption but still it is far better than all govt controlled sports confederation based in north. See like of IHF(hockey), Teniss & other sports orgganization- It is run by corrupt bureacrat of notrth like rapist Rathore, KPS gill etc who are looting the money & players doesn't have even money to eat. IF BCCI shiftet to city like delhi, it will be very soon a loss making organization & even cricket players will be at road. Also all players will be only from north irrespective of performance

i fully agree with ur assesment of the coverage which i felt was a little biased , even after CSK winning there was little talk about CSk and only about the bad luck which tormented MI . the crowd too was very parochial this kind of one sided support would not have been there if the match was held in chennai , which is the most knowledgable and sportive crowd in india if not the world , a case in point the standing ovation pakistan received when it won the test match at chepauk , Mumbai ppl will have to grow up and show humility and empathy.

Yaa i agree ,,, Its true the trio of IPL 2010 award panel including Ravi shastri, Sunil gavakar and MK pataudi , the first two are biased towards the tendulkar and thats why they decided the MOS for him while everyone know how well Raina has performed in all three departments for game, he makes 524 runs, takes 10 wickets and don't forget his superb fielding..so he was good candidate for MOS... But they Choose their own favorite Sachin...Sachin was deserving only Orange cup and he got it as well... but surely he was not good choice for MOS.. Even Kallis was good for MOS..
Plz don't take it as disrespect of Sachin..it was only referring with IPL awards given recently...

1st thing is Gavaskar and Shastri are best when explaining Cricket and Wicket and not at managing. 2nd IPL was a concept that did not originate in Modi's brain, but the idea was stolen from ICL.
So, under these cicustances Kapli paji should be the next IPL chief.

Even ICL was stolen from domestic league T20 of SA/NZL/ENG which started 2 yrs before. What maaters is who implemented it sucessfuly. Fact remains all Gavaskar, kapil, shatri etc were good players but shatri is definetely best among all when it comes to smartness & communication skill. U require proper english & street smartness in managing those things. Even while sastri is regarded as best comentator & kapil was a big failure due to his poor english & communication skill. So don't be jealous of mumbai player & accept the facts with diginity.
