They did not say Pataudi. Shastri is more or less Mumbaikar. Sena tactics is to give 3 names of which majority has to be maharashtrian and third minority has to be Mumbaikar. Other than these 3, no one should be considered. Majority wins and this Thakray demoracrazy.

any one from MH, GJ and south India shoud lead India so that it will prosper, but no one should be there from North India.
Gabaskar and shastri are also part of IPL gate along with Pawar, Patel and co. Both of them were shadowing LKM, singing praises of him at all times until it became obvious to them that Modi was about to be booted out. Gabaskar and shastri too should be prosecuted. Both are shit commentators.
Its because of him that i became a multi crore business, who got all the franchise? its because of engaging business men and stars into the sports that IPL became such a huge multi crore business. Just the idea of 20-20 is not enough to make it a big profit gaining entity. It needs key management skills that Modi only can have not Gavaskar, Ravi Shastri or Ajit Wadekar
Why not Kapil Dev who was at the helm of ICL which our sorry folks Modi and Co copied head to toe. ICL was a moderate success and was a good precursor to IPL, despite BCCI not allowing them any of the official grounds for their matches to be played.
Modi should havwe been ousted long back, when he moved the tournament out of the country to southafrica,it did create a bad image that India is not safe country to play cricket, present Govt is not proactive and sensitive on these issues, and they reacted too late when one of their man has to resign,in oneway we cricket loving people are ourselves to blame for accepting business people to administer the game they just come to earn money they are worried about the quality of the game, see when champions league was played no indian team can match with international team, that is because we don't improve our cricket, this is a very serious problem our bowling talent is at all time low, leave out the pace bowling talent we dont have back up spinners also.Cricket is not about just entertainment it is more of talent and charachter. Some one please save this Genteleman's Game.
