IPL's activites have been evident for the last three years and I am sure various Government agencies have been keeping a watch. The question is, why move against Lalit Modi now? Is this in retaliation to his attack on Shashi Tharoor?
Every Great Nation a has Great sports league, Like NBA in US ,EPL in UK bundesliga etc..India also deserves a great sports league like IPL , in abroad most of people enjoy by watching soprts ..In India also it started ...But I guess many people did not like it ..like rotten politicians who are still in stone age ..perhaps they wants India's people to be busy with Rioting ,caste based politics or idiotics soap opearas or nonsense TV news which focusses on news like someone felling into a well and keeps broadcasting it 24/7 ..I gueess people deserve this only...

I think BJP/RSS is against modern acitvities due to its backward mindset. We should be more modern and follow the leadership of Mdm Sonia Gandhi, Dr Manmohan Singh and Mr Rahul Gandhi.

Modi is a shrewd business man. He can be compared to the likes of Dhirubai Ambani,, He wants to do the best & be the best in whatever he does. He belives the theory of "Anything is fair in Love, War & Business.." 95% of the business heads who runs any kinda businesses around the world mostly dont follow ethics. To succeed and in particular to excel, ethics in business activities doesn't go hand in hand. The only problem i see in this whole issue is, Modi has grown larger than himself and nobody in India is going to be kind about that fact. We all are hyprocrats.. We dont even follow simple traffic rules (including me..) & public ethics, but we all morons will bash Modi's in all walks of life, without goin in to a layered thinking.. continue bashing Modi.. Continue bashing me 4this message..

Food for thought..... But both Ambani and Modi were more interested in filling their coffers than for the welfare of the nation.
Its highly unlikely that the internal affairs and day to day activities in IPL were only known to Modi. Quote a few BCCI members wud b party to the entire episode since 2008. How cum Rajiv Shukla roams scot free when he was so much party to the entire bidding process of Pune and Kochi franchisees?

in the public interest court can lift the corporate veil to find out the truth, there can not be any confidetial clause which makes a deal or business illegal otherwise people will start selling smack y an agrement which restricts the owners name to be given to police
the way corruption has pervaded India and Indian life, it's doubtful india will become a super power. There are thousands of crores to spend on things like IPL, but there's no money to develop poor and backward regions of India, which has led to the rise of naxalism( this is a fact). There's just no accountability here.Under the garb of democracy, ppl here have unethical and dishonest means to earn fast buck. This country is on a verge of disintegration.
Lalit modi is a pakka business man. The unethical politically designed system expects him to be ethical. A business man is always a business man. Don't expect anything else from ethical perspective.

Modi is a big time chor just that he is caught he is trying to show off the good sides of him.. what he has done in jaipur with BJP government ms. Vasundhara raje is known to every one ... land mafia, sale of government properties to his rleatives at prices of peanuts in the area of Amer... and the money that he still needs to pay to RCA.. modi is a crook and its is disheartening to see ppl supporting him! and i am sure he would still escape, thanks to our soo called system!
Modi deserves Bharat Ratna, he brought world class cricketers and entertainment closer to each other. India has become big hub of this industry.What to do and what not in managing the show is a board rooms question, but Govt. action after Tharoor exist is retaliation and anti sports as well as terrorise activity. Why in future IPL should be in India. There are many methods to take accountability of the people involved instead of creating a terrorsome atomosphere.
