GO FOR NARCO ANALYSIS TEST TO MODI
by Mr kumar on Apr 22, 2010 09:54 AM  | Hide replies

I strongly feel that, Govt. Modi should arrest him and conduct NARCO ANALYSIS Tests. Then only complete information will come out and that should be made public, so that the people India will know who are the people actually involved in this entire episode.

That is because of tweeting. Nowadays everyone is fancied about postings in Twitter, Facebook and other social networking sites. They feel this is the best way connect to the world. First casualty of twitting is Shashi Tharoor and Second casuality is Lalit Modi. These still will not learn. You can see them twitting again after few days.

GOVT SHOULD ALSO INVESTIGATE THE CHARTERTED ACCOUNTANTS ROLE
by khairnar on Apr 22, 2010 09:50 AM  | Hide replies

Govt. should also investigate the Chartered Accountants hands and how they preapred BCCI and IPLs balance sheets since the last few years even though public feels that THESE CHARTERED ACCOUNANTS VERY WELL AWARE ABOUT THE MURKY DEALINGS OF THE BCCI AND IPL AND THEY HAD ALSO HELPED TO COVER UP THE ISSUES AND MADE THE BALANCE SHEETS FOR WHICH THEY MAY GET HUGE KICKBACKS AS WELL.

Do you it is responsiblity for CA to release the names of owners? For your information, CA has no role in preparing the balance sheets. They can only audit the financial accounts prepared by the entities. If BCCI and IPL is no clean dont blame, CA, BA and AA.

NO, CA responsibility is to audit their accounts as stipulated in the CA Manuals and the financial acts prevailing at present in India. However, if they have any doubt about any murky deals which they comes to know during their audit, they have the rights not to sign the BALANCE SHEETS TILL THEY GETS CONVINCED ANSWER FROM THEM. THIS IS THEIR DUTY.

Boom in 'paid news' again?
by Grover Omprakash on Apr 22, 2010 09:49 AM  | Hide replies

I don't understand what's the problem with Congress? If there's any discrepancy in the franchise allotment then the right thing to do would be terminate the franchise and invite new bids afresh.

It doesn't really has to do anything with Lalit Modi who spent sleepless nights to create and make IPL an ultimate success.

However, again it seems like the foreigner wants and ultimately will make a mockery of India and Indians with the help of just a bunch of selfish and greedy Indians.

It remains a hidden reality perhaps that the Queen still rules the world and this time using the formula of 'empowering women' forcing to create a divide between men and between men and women of India. Applaud the lady's success - three cheers!

The problem is not with congress. The entire opposition has one chance to get on to congress and they doing it. Congress, having caught in wirlwind, they are also doing cleaning process. First asked Shashi Tharoor to step down. Now they will open up cases on Pawar and Praful for gaining more barganing power against NCP. It is nothing but one-up-manship. The casualties are Shashi, Lalit and many more to follow. End of the all the murky deals will be burried and finance ministry will close all the cases against BCCI and IPL.

For sheer business! So what's wrong in it? BTW the basic philosophy was and still is to provide young Indian domestic cricketers early exposure to international standards to generate a talent bank. Moreover, it also helps retired cricketers a hell lot providing them financial support as well as an opportunity to Indian fans to see them in action at a far lesser price.

Good point . The issues are now much above Mr. Modi or Mr. Taroor . It has been indicated that there is billions of havala money involved in this which is a very severe offence . If the allegations are true each and every one involved in the black money deals and should be punished .Let us wait and see what happens and if these big culprits are punished , i will say i am still proud to be an indian , otherwise God save india

If the people of India themselves don't have the will how can God save India? Believe me, they say it is 'god's own country' but the bitter reality is it is a legal state of India and humans live their lives in it.

Lalit is inteligent guy. It must be boiling within BCCI for quite sometime to show exit of Lalit as someone else wanted to take over the reins of IPL. This guy worked hard to create a success of IPL and now many wanted to have share on the booty. Big stakes are in place and Lalit must be blocking others. After all he is not doing charity. To put everyone, he would have thought this is time right time to let the cat out of the bag. Just see the political ripples it is creating between congress and NCP.

The fact that both BCCI and IPL are under Pawar and he is known for his corruption and nepotism. Unfortunate that even sports and games are left by the politicians. It is unfortunate that the sports events finally end up in big hoax with match fixers having a field day

It is not unfortunate. This is the only way. Wherever there is an opportunity of money, politician will be there. End of the day politicians also are business men. They spend huge fortune in the election with an intention to get a good return on their investment.

IT SHOULD NOT BE THE CASE OF JUST ANOTHER TELGI MODEL INVESTIGATA
by khairnar on Apr 22, 2010 09:47 AM  | Hide replies

This investigation should not be similar to the Telgi model investigation and punishments for only one or two person, but in this case all the people involved into the corruption deals whether it is the biggest industrialists, politicians who are sitting in opposition benches or ruling side, ministers of either state or central and their relatives whoever they are!!! If Govt has no desire to do so, then WE FEEL THAT GOVT. IS INDIRECTLY HELPING TO THE YOUNGER GENERATION TO COMPULSE THEM TO BELIEVE THAT OUR SYSTEM IS NEVER GIVE GOOD GOVERANCE AND IT SHOULD BE CHANGED BY ANY MEANS AND THIS ANGER AND DESPAIR MAY HELP THE ULTRAS who are operating inside and outside the countries.

yes , i agree with you . The culprits should be punished no matter if he is a cabinet minister of a big business man . Only then public will have faith in the system and government . This IPL is a big havala scam where where theseparties cheated government taxes of crores of rupees which should have been utilized for the gross development of India.

ARREST THE FRAUDSTERS...
by khairnar on Apr 22, 2010 09:46 AM

...By saying this, I am fully confident that if India Govt. and its authorities are have the guts, they can cleans this system, however, looking into the past cases involved in the biggest politicians and the industrialits I am but afraid that this case and its investigation is also going just an EYE WASH and may be a coverup since biggest politicians who are in the Govt. as well as some main opposition party leaderes and industrlaists are involved in these murky dirty deals. What prevents Govt. of India to arrest the fraudsters immediately and try a special court on this BIGGEST EVER MURKY SCANDAL which is involved MILLIONS OF MILLIONS DIRTY DOLLARS and start afreh to cleans the system? ARREST THE FRAUDSTERS AND BOOK THEM, GIVE THEM MODEL PUNISHMENT, CONFISCATE THEIR ILLEGAL PROPERTIES IN AND OUT OF THE STATE AND COUNTRY. DO U HAVE THE GUTS???

Its simple, stupid
by ramprasad mantravadi on Apr 22, 2010 09:46 AM

Lalit Modi and Tharoor had fight over 'that woman'. Modi leaked to the press to bring Tharoor down. And now Congress party is trying its best to bring Modi down.

BCCI trying to strike balance between its autonomy and cooperating with government.

Sharad Pawar will protect IPL, get some large bags of money to Congress donation, play the role of a peace-maker.

All will be well and IPL will continue with some level of interference from government from here on.

That is my take.
