I don't know whether he will be missed, but if the Team India uses the right technique for T20 then there should not be a problem. From what I observed from the IPL matches so far, the team should see that ASAP while batting there should not be a dot-ball, till first 5 overs no wicket should fall, till first 10 overs at least 90-95 runs should be scored at a cost of max 2 wickets, by 15th over the score should cross 140 at cost of max 5 wickets and in the last 5 overs hit the ball freely at a rate of min 10 runs per over and try to reach 190-200. And while feilding give your 101%, ASAP no no balls, wide balls. Of course everytime it is not possible to follow all this, I know. Then Tendulkar will not be missed.
Why is anybody seeking Wright's views now anyway? How are they important? Why is this news at all? I don't understand! Anything goes!! Just shows how easily people can be fooled in the name of news or content. There is no news here really. Some inconsequential fellow airing his view to some equally inconsequential fellow, who then writes some inconsequential report which then is distributed to all inconsequential publications, where inconsequential people like you and me debate and fight over the inconsequential piece of content. This is India - an inconsequential land of inconsequential peoplel
is really intelligent player hence his decision should also be an intelligent one. 20-20 format does not suit a gentleman cricketer like Sachin. It is a silly version of cricket which fits a technique less cricketers such as Yusuf Pathan. In fact senior players such as Kallis Dravid & Saurav should not have opted for IPL,
For the present youngsters Tendulkar today is like Sunil Gavaskar for us in the late 80s, and about to retire…the way we did not see the prime of Sunil Gavaskar, todays youngsters have not seen Tendulkars prime, which is more superior and top in quality in comparison to Sunil G. What they don’t know is, before the emergence of Dhoni / Yugraj /Shevag/Gautam etc, there was a time we had ONLY Tendulkar out of the 11 to rely upon. When Tendulkar was out the game was finished during those days
As of now there are only 2 teams which are hungry to win T20WC - Bangladesh and Pakistan. Bangladesh doesn't have a great talent, so don't be surprised if Pakistan wins the Cup again.

Afghanistan may well win the T20 WC in the WI. I believe they have some raw talent that can explode in a way that could catch all others unawares. It is said Karzai and Obama both may attend cricket T20 in the WI. Both of them don't know cricket, but they think it would be a wonderful gesture. The entire world will then see that Afghanistan is truly back into the mainstream. It has a lot of symbolic significance, that's why. Also, Obama, by attending cricket match, wants to indirectly indicate that the US won't oppose moves to import T20 format into the US which now has a very large Asian community in the population.

Mr. Krishna you are not needed at all in this forum. Please keep your unreasonable & unnecessary thoughts to yourself only.

Stitch up your lips, Awara. Who are you to say who is needed and who is not needed in this forum? Your dad did not set up this forum, has he? So why are you acting like the owner or head? You are not even the moderator. You can agree, disagree or be neutral.

Since he only plays for records than whatever he score when playing for India, those runs should not to be added to the team's total . Is that what you are trying to say ?
Sachin is a thorough gentleman. He hardly speek from his mouth with his critics, he prefers his bat to do the job on ground. The fact is , the selectors had hurt him by sidelining him in the earlier 20x 20 world cup stating his age factor and overlooking his performance. Now he has prooved his metal by winning the Orange Cap and maximum 4s in IPL 3. What a befitting tamacha on the Selectors face !! Bravo Sachin, we are proud of you and your noble behaviour.

Sachin ran away to mountains when selectors wanted to entrust responsibility to him. He made them communicate with him through fax. and he sought tax exemption for expensive gifts like racing cars even though he has millions (billions?) of rupees in his pocket.

Feeling sorry for your poor memory yar. When Sachin left Indian captaincy,TWENTY 20 was not even born ! As regards the exemption application, is it not a right of any citizen to make application ? After all sanctiong or othersise was in the hands of the proper authority. About his money , is earning money by hard work is a crime ? After all , he has earned it by sweating on ground , hard work and sacrifysing his personal life and sheer dedication to the game. Unlike a black marketeer or corrupt politician ,do not compare his earning. It shows your poor test, jealocy or thinking capacity and capability. Poor chap , GOD bless you !

Sachin always got the exceptions rather than asking. He got even special critics who keep thinking about how to criticize him.
There is no doubt India would miss Sachin in the T-20 World Cup. The team that the selectors have selected unfortunately seems to be in poor form except a few. Shewag, Yuvraj, Dhoni,Pathan dont even figure in the leading scorers in IPL... Thats a huge concern. The Top 2 Indians dont even figure in the squad. Sachin has ruled himself out and Saurav Ganguly has retired long back and they are the No1 and No 3 highest scorers in IPL 3. I am not suggesting that Ganguly should reconsider his retirement but the team certainly lacks players in form. The Legends of the game still have a trick or two to show the younsters that T-20 is not after all just slam bang.

Nonsense. Sachin is 37, can't deliver for national team in quickfire format - doesn't have the firepower nor strike rate. He himself knows it too. That's why he chickened out. But bcz Ambanis pay him lot of money and hold felicitation functions for him and turned him into their retainer, he is desperately trying to win IPL for them. Indian win T20 world cup without Sachin by they way. And India never won any world competition (with more than six teams) with Sachin in team and without Azhar in team.
