If Sachin is not able to give World cup to India, this time, the do you dare to take his place in Indian team and give the world cup to our country?
First think ahat you can do and then analyse/criticize others

ipl or world cup
by shylaj mk on Apr 18, 2010 01:04 PM  | Hide replies

kapil has rightly said that, if sachin feels he is fit to play ipl but not world cup...then there is definately something wrong...
may be he is also motivated by the big money involved in ipl...

IPL is a commercial game, performance in IPL has nothing to do with the International T20 Cricket.
And Sachin has announced his retirement from T20 much before IPL started.
I think it is his personal decission,so leave it up to him

He has performed well in one or two matches. To be in team he should give 100% in every match.

Yes u r right Boss, But why only Pathan, see the performance of Pravin,Zaheer,Rohit Sharma,Ishant,Harbhajan all are below standard. Infact india has always poor bowling attack. just close your eye and think from any international players side- which indian bowlers is threatening him for coming match. NO ONE - thats the reality.

We should not seggregate senior or junior players. Who ever is in form should be given chance.Who ever is not playing well or in form should be rested. If this format is adopted then Indian cricket will win consistantly.

Thank God .. Wright is not telling India is missing Gavaskar, Srikanth and all that..
IPL T20 quality is much poorer than T20 world cup and mostly not serious cricket at all .. only a pyjama cricket..

Average talented Javed Miandad got Pakistan the world cup in the fifth attempt at world cup. Lets see if the extra-talented world class Sachin will be able to get India at least in the sixth attempt.

No way... dont forget we were drubbed cheaply by even bangladesh in the qualifying around with Tendulkar at peak form...Only Uthappa,Murali Vijay, Vinayakumar,Yusuf pathan like players can win world cup.

It was Dhoni's game to outsted senior players
by rkdmumbai on Apr 18, 2010 12:42 PM

It is really a sad thing that we will be missing Tendulkar in T20 matches... Tendulkar is such a form that India had a chance to win T 20 under his able guidance. But in 2007, Dhoni and team insulted the senior players and they had to walk out from T 20.... Now days of Dhoni has been counted.... Senior players have to come back at least for the benefit of the country as a whole....

Performance of Indian Team Member in IPL
by Jamshed Bhai on Apr 18, 2010 12:36 PM

Some people says IPL is a commercial game so its performance does not matter, i want to ask one question, like yesterday match between bombay-banglore, crowd was more than 40000, can any one imagine that player will take lightly to play in front of thier cheering home crowd. ofcourse not, IPL is watched by millions of fans so i dont think this is not a serious cricket atleast for junior palyers because they see it a ticket for indian team. now if we check the balance sheet of indian criceter in the ongoing IPL, feel very frustating, whether it is Dhoni,Sehwag,Harbhajan,Pathan,Pravin Kumar,Raina,Yuvraj, all are dumped by the local junior players. its high time to pray for the Indian team and hope that they will not loss the match agaianst Afganistan which is first encounter of WC20.

Why not Dravid and Kumble? They too have performed well in IPL. :-))

Man, Tendulkar has played only in India on flat pitches and innings fixed by his sponsors. His performance has been very poor outside India in the last 2 years.

And his performance in West Indies has been most miserable.

In 2003 when India reached finals, main conttributor was
Tendulkar and Gangulay was the captain. In 2007 Tendulkar along
with other team mates did not perfrom and were thrown own of the WC. At that time Dravid was the captain. For 2003 you are giving credit to Ganguly but for 2007 you are blaming Sachin only. What a logic ?

by AdinGoyyale on Apr 18, 2010 12:03 PM  | Hide replies

Crap Dhoni is a overhyped sportsman of India. Naman Ojha, Robin Uthappa, Ambati Rayudu have done much better than Dhoni as WK/batsman. Dont expect India to do well in the T20 world cup
