As a student at Duke University, USA in 1985, Modi was convicted for possessing 400 grams of cocaine and charged with assault and kidnapping. Modi pleaded guilty to the crime when the case was heard in the Durham County court, North Carolina and later entered a plea bargain, which resulted in a suspended two year prison sentence
A consortium led by Rendezvous was set up to bid for an IPL team. They approached me for help and guidance. I steered them towards Kerala. Rendezvous includes a number of people, including many I have never met, and Sunanda Pushkar, whom I know well.
Okay... so a spa-owner and a bunch of people get together and go to a person who most of them do not know "for help and guidance"... and this person also happens to be a Central Minister with nothing to do, and he spends his time that is paid for by tax-payers and "steered them to Kerala". wow! i can't believe that i am on lalit modi's side!!

Yes. The wikipidea says the same thing with details...! Just search for Lalit Modi in Wiki!
I would like to ask does anyone know what is the official or persoanl email ID of new IPL Kochi team management or executive. I would like to suggest them please for God sake do not select Shreesanth in your team. He is not at all a team player and weared attitude. Skill and performance shows it all. Kochi should not buy players on the basis of localisation but on the basis of performance and value for money. Thanks
Re: How to contact /mail Kochi franchise

First lets see whether this Kochi Team will be there or not. The way things are, there are high chances that the franchise will be "disqualified" and another one will come up... Most likely the Ahmedabad franchise!
Modi can't do a thing about the franchise, now that the agreement is in place. The franchisee should now go ahead with building a good team, but for HEAVEN'S SAKE Please, please, please don't let that Sreesanth ruin the side with his presence.
