Nothing wrong in gills statement it is not our culture to drink publically that also where 50 or 60 thousand people gathered. We should not try to copy foreign culture on the other hand we should try to illuminate our own culture which is deadely against such irresponsible attitudes. Jai Hind

By the way, cricket is not our culture and we never had stadiums in the past. So ban cricket and breakdown all stadiums. Lets Promote Indian Culture. Jai Hind.
Rather than Head of a sports loving country's Sports faculty, you are behaving like a Barababu of local thana who only has got negative point of view to one & any - provide adequate & easy accessible drinking water solution & temparature control mechanisms before going to media & generally blabbering around...Go out & first conceptualize & organize something like an IPL first for football & hockey then talk....FALTU SARKARI BHARBHAR...

Liquor is one thing which spoils humanity. People will over take it and will start fighting each other. Mr Gill is right and we shouldnt allow in any way people take it. And if possible whoever even already have it in out side and coming to ground, we shouldnt allow them too.
I dont understand this stooopid morality thing. So u can drink urself pisss drunk and fall in the ditch for all the govt cares, but u cant enjoy a drink in a stadium watching ur favourite player.

Taking liquor in public place is sin and unethical. So if you want to enjoy then go to your home and have it as much as you want and enjoy but not in public place.
