Kalyan Satya
best umpire
by Kalyan Satya on Oct 29, 2009 10:46 PM

its truly a tragedy to have lost a wonderfull person and umpire as shep. may your soul rest in peace. having him part of the match itself lent its own charm to the game and watching it was more interesting. its a remarkable feat to have umpired with distinction for so many matches and having gained the respect of soo many players, officials is a outstanding tribute to the sort of person shep was. the game of cricke it that much poorer with the loss of shep.

on a side note, its also sad that not one of the indian players ex/current or bcci officials deemed it fit to pay their tributes or even comment on the sad news of shep's demise. such is the way of the money making cricket culture in india. its truly a sad moment.

Not fair Shep. You should have been 'out' on 111 not on 68.
Very bad and sad decision indeed.
May your soul rest in peace.
