Mr Shep had a different charisma when he used to be on the ground. Very calm, compose, polite & yet firm on the peach, We will miss you shep, may your soul rest in peace.
During his life,he created benchmarks for other upmpires to follow and the gentlemanship he showed is a classic example of the man he was... The way he commanded respect from both the teams on the field itself talk about his stature....we always missed him when he retired and will miss him more now...not for what he did for cricket but for what he gave to cricket...
It is great loss for Cricket world. He was Gem of a person. His umpiring was extreamly outstanding. The greatest umpire i have ever seen. He was Humorous and very friednly to all players..
