Reason for India defeat
by Guest on Oct 27, 2009 12:08 PM

Don blame India batting.. Main reason is fielding. If they fielded well means v can restrict aus around 250.. Its easy to chase on... HARBHAJAN batted well but wat abt his bowlin.. he is a experienced bowler and top spinner too.. but last few series he is strugglin.. If he didnt perform well in next match better replace his place by mishra

What happened with Indians
by Salman on Oct 26, 2009 02:59 PM  | Hide replies

If some person which belongs to other nation/country will read this forum so they'll be laughing on us because we're targeting our heroes very rudely which isn't right as we've to respect them including all of our heores like hockey players and all other who are performing national duties.

As far as yesterday's match is concern, what happened if we lost 1st match there is 6 matches are still remaining and hope that our team will bounce back and our players will try their best to win this series but we shouldn't expect to win all matches of this series.

We've already dropped Dravid from team which is completely wrong and now we've only 1 senior which is Sachin Tendulkar and hope that his experience and all dedication of all other young players will meet the success and hope that dravid will return in the team and yuvraj will return with full fitness.

Please try to support our team as they need us because there will not come any outsider to support our team and we should do this.

money game

i can understand y Lee just bowled 6 overs in all, y was watson given the ball even though he went for big run's. India was given all the chances to win by ponting , but just manages to go closer. i thing Aus were told not to win by big margin as it would make people loose interest in the series. big money is involved here.

This match was fixed
by sanjayforu on Oct 26, 2009 12:01 PM

The way Watson bowled 48th over confirmed that it was fixed. No genuine bowler will throw four consecutive full toss on the off side. This was just to push up the legal bettors in England and Australia to bet on India and in 49th over they put a fullstop on Indian miracle. The same thing happened in Champions Trophy against Pakistan and I know the Australian players are well paid for their tactics and you see Ricky never ran and spoke a word when Watson was doing error after errors. What an income pride for their nation and hefty in their pockets. These australians have both brains and talent.

A cricketer in SA
by Rahul Ponting on Oct 26, 2009 11:14 AM  | Hide replies

I had a chat with one of the club level cricketers in Pretoria about cricket. I asked him who his favourite were. he said \"Brian Lara, Brett Lee, Rahul Dravid, Ricky Ponting, Graeme Smith, Dale Steyn. A lot of them huh? And also Sachin.......he used to be a very good bat...he still plays for India, doesn\'t he?\"!

You now know why he remains a club level cricketer in Pretoria.... :)

Boss, you need to know the game you are supposed to be playing. Else you'll never grow. As you saw with the living example you just narrated.... :)

Sachin was the man
by Rahul Ponting on Oct 26, 2009 10:32 AM  | Hide replies

Just as Gavaskar predicted, Sachin made the difference yesterday. A strike rate of 48? and we think Dravid's 73 off 101 balls (strike rate of 71) was bad! But yes I do think Sachin still is a good bat and will score some runs in the coming matches if India bat first. Chasing nearly 300 is too much for our little master.

As is evident, chasing 300 is too much for everyone in our team.... :)

And for records, it is a good thing to bat first and score a solid target, as the Aussies did.... :)

Any objections?... :)

No objection, sir. So a good solution would be that we choose our playing XI after the toss. If we bat first, Sachin plays. We bat second, Dravid plays.

Obviously you know a lot less about the rules of the game than you know about the performance of the players.... :)
