We Indian always take excuses from anything. Now we have Sehwag, Dhoni says he is missing Yuvi, after that he will say he misses Zaheer. His excuse list will go on. Yuvi has got back problem he is not able to field great as he was before . He won't be able to recover properly. Sachin is not fully fit becoz of his age. But still he is a great batsman(Bowler not anymore).

I'm saying same thing. Dhoni is giving excuses of all rounders now.But aussies are not complaining there teams r also new as ours .

Mayur, we dont need quality all rounder. We just need quality Batsman and Bowler than only we can win matches.

sorry rohit....selectors dont want quality batsman like dravid....for them only bits n pieces players like raina,kohli, jadeja, dhoni will win matches for india..god save indian team..
it was pathetic bowling and a poor captaincy. First of all team selection was wrong. Munaf should have played instead of Praveen or Ishant as he is performing well in recent domestic series. Second Harbhajan is not in form and so he should be rested for 2-3 matches and Amit Mishra should have been given a chance. I think our bowlers have taken Dhoni's all-rounder search too seriously and they are concentrating more on batting rather than on their bowling as is the case with Harbhajan. Unable to take wickets also not able to control the runs.

even Dhoni and Gambhir wasted 12 deliveries each. That's why Bhajji and Praveen were in pressure.
Dhoni shud accept that it is bcoz of him wasting alot of deliveries during middle stages that put pressure on raina n jadeja to keep up the rate that lost the match...bhajji n kumar shown that dhoni cannot blame the surface..simple thing is let dhoni come at number 7 or else it would be 0-7 to australia...mark my words

If one observed clearly in the game in 47th over by Shane Watson bowled all tha balls full pitched or full toss and that too giving full width to the batsmen.Why Bret Lee did not bowl the last 3 overs.To keep the tempo of the series alive(Otherwise India would lose the match with big margin may be 50/60 runs)Australians were forced to bowl full toss so that india can get close to te victory.Since the Airtel Champions trophy matches TRP ratings were dipped to low level because India did not reach semis.So that could have been a factor.

I thought the same too. They didnt give bowling to Lee in the slog overs. And even the 50th over, they gave it to Siddle even after he had given 1 runs in his previous over. And Wason was bowling all full toos and wide of the off stump, whereas he had been the most accurate bowler in the Champions rophy

australia will use their benchstrength much better than india....india has limted options talent wise....their middle order without rahul dravid is ordinary....raina, kohli,dhoni,jadeja....are all having limited abilities as a batsman. sachin is predictibly average in this series....at best india can win 1 or 2 matches.....dravid should be selected for the remaining matches...only he has the ability to hold the innings till the end while setting the target as well as chasing..otherwise there is no hope....sorry selectors...u have committed blunder by dropping dravid...

In ODI there is no question of a draw, so merely holding the innings together without accelerating does not help. Dravid if fot only for tests where he can help india to a draw!

A fool can only comment like this..it's virtualy over when india lost their 7th wicket...no one was there to build an innings in the middle order...any one can throw his bat and score runs for a while....but the toough task is to build an innings and play till the end, create partnerships..and score the winning run....that's the quality of dravid over the years...sorry guys...most of u dont understand cricket and specialy batsmanship...4's n 6's cant win matches...it will entertain spectators...the difference is..aussies have hussey in the middle order, a solid player like dravid.....but india is not having that kind of a player..

Totally agree. If Dravid is not a match winner but he plays great anchor role in a inning.He is most consistent and in-form player whom BS selectors have dropped.
