But why select only for two matches ? Why not for entire series or at least for four matches ? What message the selectors want to give? That we have others waiting to take over ? This way it will only increase their insecurity preventing them from playing freely. If we are preparing for 2011WC, we should have ‘balanced’ response to ‘series’ defeats. Also, being a home series they could have included a 16th player, say Abhishek Nayar. It must be said that Abhishek Nayar neither got sufficient opportunity nor the type of support a junior is expected to get from his captain. Further, if not Nayar, Ojha or Ashwin also could have been included as the 16th man and tried out in the long series. But the fact is even Amit Mishra is ‘benched’ mostly because Harbhajan who doesn’t do that well on overseas tours manages to thrive at home conditions with help from the “part timers”.It is time we have a series without Harbhajan and encourage other spinners. We don’t know where this Dhoni-Bhajji duo are taking team India because they seem to be blocking young bowlers , especially the spinners.

YOu should always n always insult and humiliate the fat cats, so gud what is done to dravid. to me he is no legend, average is not the only criteria for the ODIs, Strike rate has equal weightage. and this is where he is less then ordinary. you can not keep on going ga ga over the averages with a snail pace of paltry strike rate of 60s.
Very poor selection. HARBAJAN Why they have that much faith over Harbajan. He is not performing at all last 3 years except 2 or 3 matches when part timers even getting wickets.Instead of him ojha is excellent. Even he is performing well in champions league.Every body knows in 20 worldcup first 2 matches he bowled well, but dhoni not included him in next 2 matches in playing 11.What is the reason not included?
ISHANT SHARMA Second Ishant sharma who is also bowling very poor and still not axed. Every bodyknow his ablity to give runs from IPL 1& IPL 2, 20 World cup, champions trophy. Any one can compare the same with Irfan Pathan, even in one match if he bowled well with good economy and wicketless then next day would be axed.Why selectors keep selecting him?
RAHUL DRAVID Rahul dravid. he is the one who played very well in champions trophy and now dropped.Good justice from selectors. Dhoni very good captain even a year before. Now his qualities is changed. Any one can know this from his final eleven selection by allowing harbajan and ishant in all matches even if they were badly beaten in the previous matches.Also he is avoiding irfan.Always keep faith on good talented players not your favorites.A good captain is the one who is rectifying the mistakes not continuing them stubbonly.

If Dravid is kicked out or thwrown out (whatever u may) so be it.When Dravid was left out a year ago the selectors should have made sure that there was another person in the team or atleast on the bench having the ability of Dravid.When they couldnt find any after all the mix masala they call him back only to dump him again.If this how he begets then fine, let Dravid go out of the crick world gracefully much b4 he his made to go thru the entire trauma of come & go again.Lets hope in the best interest of Indian Cricket team that Srikant & Co do a much better job in selecting the future players of India & atleast now Dhoni must play 2 down or 3 down so that he doesnt get a chance to say " I got only 3 balls to face in the entire champions trophy" & also that Indian cricket musnt go thru the same phase of what happened to Indian Hockey where many of the senior players were made to retire & c now where they languish( way bottom)

I feel its agood team but dhoni shud be removed from this.. And we should include CHETESHWARA PUJARA and Harbhajan should be captain.... :)
this is only series nor world cup 2011, or t-20 world cup.so bcci give more change to young players not experienced players.I think more then 60% indian team filled with emerging players and rest experienced players.
