Dont blame batsmen for India's debacle in champs. tropy
by vishal shinde on Oct 02, 2009 08:41 AM

I think Indain bowlers especially Ishant Sharma & Bhajji looked restless in tourment. They need a break. For sake of money they cant stretch themseleves & ruining not only Indias record but also their careers. Dravid, Ghambhir & Raina played well against Pak. they were just short of finish.

One word for the critics of Dhoni
by pseudoindianmedia on Oct 02, 2009 07:26 AM

Lets shame ourselves for being Indians who "cant even get it up" who criticise just at the drop of the pin. We dont even look at the stats for the sake. One match one series then blame game starts and the captain is punching bag. Cricket is a team effort and able guidance along with selectors who are demi gods who make or break the cricketers life. We as Indians dont have guts to face the defeat. For being a sport takes a long time for we as Indians perhaps in this century....or may be I am wishing too much.

moving onward should be downhill for Dhoni.. The man is loosing people's trust in him. Lot of that gotta do with his big mouth and unnecessory comments and experiments, combined with his poor cricket

really!!?? 9 fifties in 24 matches is by no means a small achievement unless u want him to be donald bradman , and his comments on yusuf pathan are pretty bang on ,what is his fault if yusuf is not playing !!! yusuf pathan being a very good player (everyone is a good player in the domestic circuit (read : substandard)) its a differnt ball game when they have to play the likes of mitchell johnson and shane bond , so go dhoni there is nothing wrong with being outspoken , if pathan scores a century sometime later dhoni is gona be applauded

There is nothing to sympathise with Dhoni or Yusuf Pathan. The way they performed was pathetic and unjustifiable. When we play international cricket,we are supposed to play any kind of bowling attack. If they are not able to play, why do they at all play ? We need more youngsters in the team rather than still dwelling on people with experience. For a batsman, staying unbeaten till the end at the cost of losing the match makes no sense. Dravid's 76 off 103 balls did not help India win the match. We do not worry even if he had got out at 10 or 12 as the final result of the match would have anyway been unchanged. What about Tendulkar ?How many times are we going to forgive him for getting out for a very very ordinary score when chasing a target of 300 or more ? High time team takes in more youngsters so that they will get enough time to get trained and well equipped for the 2011 world cup."Old is gold" holds pretty old here.

Dhoni is a one of the greatest players India has produced who has balls, very few of our previous captains were as good as him. Now you would talk about azhar, ganguly, kapil etc... But this man is on the right track and will prove you guys wrong..Dont come to conclusions after a rough patch which he is having.

Yes, Purush, u r absolutely right. He is a world class captain if not he wud not have be chosen as the Captain for both the ICC ODI & Test teams. Azhar & Kapil always stands way behind Ganguly & Dhoni.

YEAH. He is GOD. He Knows everything about cricket. He Knows more then ex cricketers who have played more then 100 test.

Dhoni is the best bowler in our team when the ball is swinging. He is the best batsman in our team, who come ahead of the other batsmen who are considered to be more talented then Dhoni..

Dhoni is GOD!!!
