Make hay while sun shine....It is shameful that Indian cricketers win all the awards after losing big matches. How many test matches did dhoni play to be adjudged as the test cricketer of the year? All these are rigged......
But he needs to keep his mouth shut. Selectors should get permanent replacements for players who get regularly injured. Sack the fitness coach. Dravid or Tendulkar, only one should be selected for one dayers. Preferably tendulkar but if he is injured select Dravid of course with a runner to help.
Why shower awards on Dhoni? Why is all indian team success credited to him? What about shameful failures? Why isnt he accountable for defeats he has earned with a great team in T20 and near great team in Champions trophy? He would hv been a good captain had he won without injured players like 2007T20. Some one needs to tell him put ur head down n start working.. india deserves more.

No one deserves praise, really. Its who we, the Indian fans have to settle for less n plead for greater success from our rich stars. also its we who hv to get used to our dissappointments n get settled for couple of series losses after every series win. We hv learned to accept plain Average from our cricket dont we... so keep on awardin them

I disagree to certain extent with your comment. The players you named barring SACHIN have not been a backbone and are in-consistent like DHONI. Its not about individual performance for which DHONI is taken to ride, its about his POOR LEADERSHIP that suddenly dominating his promising start, which is of worry. He lacks qualities to handle the things within and outside team and uses MEDIA to address them. That kills the spirit of the team and nation. Hope you will appraise that.

cricket needs 11 players to play & win u moron.....when has India won so many matches before...and with two oldies sticking around it is more difficult for India to win

winning so many matches is still less than wht we want. we need bigger trophies, WCups, No 1 rankings. compare indias winning run to that of australia. u would see its jst a fraction. we hv all the resources so why settle for ordinary dude...

Also give award to media who is been praising Dhoni as the best captain n cricketer.
he must be given one more award for leading a team having maximum non performing assets like ishant,kartik,kohli,rpsingh...for a young team we have an uncle team
telecast 1hrs spl programme to decide who was the culprit of the series. my sincere advice to all retired players to look at their past than make any judgement.
