I simply love the frustration of SRT haters. poor souls, they hate him and want to see him failing so badly, yet he keeps scoring runs at will and centuries after centuries, slapping all those haters every time.
The more they wish he fails, the more he shoves his heavy bat down their throats. How sad !
He is currently at 88 International centuries. he will end his career with 100 International centuries. What will you haters do ? You can't do anything other than keep cursing him, while he will keep frustrating you by scoring centuries after centuries, and the whole of cricket fraternity will keep rating him as one of the best ever.
Poor haters, so sad, He... He... He... He... He....

Sachin Bashers/haters, If you guys take world cup as the benchmark, then Tom Moody is better batsman than Lara, Paul Riefel is better bolwer than Curtley Ambrose, Yashpal Sharma is better fielder than Jonty Rhodes.

Winning a big tournament requires great team work in which all the players contribute in batting, balling, fielding. A person cant single handedly won a world cup. Never any team won a world cup with out team work... On behalf Australia is a great of participation from every body. Even so... I think SRT can do it.

by Surya Bhattacharjya on Nov 24, 2009 05:43 PM
You are right, pranav. Where all other boards are trying to save Test cricket, the BCCI is just doing the opposite. Preparing such kind of track will kill test cricket.
Re: Centuries..........
by Raj Sesha on Nov 24, 2009 05:43 PM
no fear. We have the great Sreesanth. He will take 10 wickets in the match and bowl India to a great win.
Re: Re: Centuries..........
by parikshit guha on Nov 24, 2009 06:16 PM
righto . he is such a brillinat bowler . he never bowls below 180 KMPH with grt swings . cm on Sreesanth . Show them . Raj missed ur cricket so much when u wr bizy dancing all arnd .
Kanpur seems to be very Lucky to Indian cricket team. Suddenly their form improves, players start batting better. I proposed to conduct rest of test matches in Kanpur only. So that Indian Cricket team could win this test series.Other wise they are gonna repeat the same history..Prove Like Looser
Re: Luck By Chance
by Balaji Krishnamurthy on Nov 24, 2009 08:43 PM
It is not that. The Indian team walked in straight from a ODI series to a Test series. It took them time to adapt. Once they adapted they have performed. Remember India scored 800 runs in Ahmedabad. If you take a hard look at the record, you will not run down the Indian team like this.
Atlast ishant gone.. sigh of relief. India will surly win this match. This proves that one's place should not be taken for granted. Let him be relieved now and ask him to play super league ranji match. He thinks high of himself that he is in the big league and always play every match of international cricket and now he should be away from internationals until he gains the pace swing and more importantly his form and then he can think of playing intl cricket. There are lot of better talents than him in the domestic. They shld be nurtured well.
Re: Ishant gone
by gaurav manchanda on Nov 24, 2009 09:15 PM
Dropping ishant is very good for indian cricket in future. Except sachin, dhoni and kumble, remaining players of the current Indian squad (include ganguly) have been dropped from the team for atleast 2 times. They all looked very promising in the early stage of their career but they failed to do justice with their talent any committment. IF u see the history of indian cricket u will come to know that most of the promising indian players (who have dropped earlier) have made comeback into the indian team with very amazing performance. Examples: Ganguly Dravid Yuvraj Bhajji Zaheer Raina Sehwag Gambhir
The most common thing about these players is that they turned out to become backbones of Indian squad (except raina).
There are other players also who looked to be very promising in the early stage of their career, failed to make a big comeback into the indian squad. Examples Kaif Parthiv Patel Irfan pathan kambli Dinesh Mongia Murali Kartik Dinesh karthick

bhaji also deserves this treatment. I got surprised nt 2 see mishra in this match. one can nt judje a player on the basis of just one performance & that too on a deadly match. This kind of selection criteria will tend to create insecurity in newcomers.
Re: Re: Ishant gone
by Arun on Nov 24, 2009 05:35 PM
Ishant was given ample chance and he has had only one good series. He shld be dropped and ask him to return to domestic atleast for 6 months. Same as for rohit sharma. Now he is failing in domestic also. R.P.Singh, Patel to name the few. Raina hangs in balance. not sure when he would go down the other side. Strict selection policy shld be taken by the selectors. Id Sree bowls well this test, then ishant will forget his place.
who say SAchin is not a matchwinner’’ describe..and if you want 60 runs in 3 overs..you want a person like Lance Klusener..but if u want a person whose name if on the team can motivate the other 10 to win a match..you have Sachin Tendulkar...
If you want a person who can hit centuries and create a base where his team members can follow and win ..that person is Sachin Tendulkar
If you want a person who is very much involved in the game.. even while fielding and bowling..that person is Sachin Tendulkar..he doesnt get a 100 and leave the game.. hez almost always there..in the field..giving his very best..
This is what is called a matchwinning attitude :)
If Sachin cant be a bevan or a klusener...the whole of australian and southafrican teams cant match tendulkar and what you are really doing is taking the best qualities out of every player and saying sachin doesnt have them...
Well why don’t u see..what qualities sachin has..which 99 % of other players dont have :D and thats why he’s a great cricketer
Out of the centuries of Sachin, India has won many times. If you can do the maths thats 3 out of 4 times.
If the other players screwed up...after sachins century so is that Sachin’s fault ? Do you want Sachin to make 200 runs out of the 300 runs in every match ?

don't compare him with Bevan, Kulu etc... if at all you need to compare, do it with Lara, Ponting, Dravid etc
Re: @Oomshik Tooshik (same soldiersonia)
by MAHESH MOHARIR on Nov 24, 2009 05:20 PM
His not a match winner as conversion of his 100/150 runs to india victory is less than lara & ponting. he got bowled out many times as compared to gavaskar

He is not the only batsman in india, to win the match, there are other 10 players also to join him to win the match, but unfortunately, there were none during the period of maxfixerazarudin and fewothers.

you idiot then why he has failed to help india winning even a single world cup and crushed while scoring at major torunaments.

Why didn't Brian lara win a single World Cup for his team ? Crushed in Major Tournaments ? Which major Tournaments ?

At least Lara has many Double ton to his credit. He has many tripples and EVEN a 400.His first class highest is 501*.So he is the world's best test cricketer. No doubt about it.

by ajay gs on Nov 24, 2009 05:53 PM
Gireesh.. u need a player to score 400.. and u say he is gr8. Have some realistic thoughts.Even Sir Viv said.. Sachin is more consistent than Lara and he would be in his team. And that comment is from a Gr8 WestIndian and arguably one of the most aggressive batsmen of his time.Do have some logic when commenting on such gr8's.

He still has an average below Sachin and West Indies lost more matches during the time Lara played than won. Just shows that in the matches he scored he scored very heavily but had lot of matches where he didn't score. Sachin has far fewer double hundreds and no triple. But lots of centuries mean that he scored in more matches. As a batsman, thats what he's required to do and thats what he's done.
Re: Re: @Oomshik Tooshik (same soldiersonia)
by Chocolat on Nov 24, 2009 05:49 PM
It simply shows how poorly the others in the team played. 1996, 1999 he was the leading run scorer for India and right up there in 2003. He is a batsman and scoring runs is his primary job for India. He did that. The rest didn't help him. We didn't win the world cup. End of story. He cannot bat for the rest of the 11 or take wickets for the rest of the 11. They have to help too. So its not his fault if India didn't win the world cup.

Sachi 'the motivator'???????? He is such a motivator that his IPL team's position tells the story.I want your reply for this ASAP.More on this after that.
Re: Re: @Oomshik Tooshik (same soldiersonia)
by ajay gs on Nov 24, 2009 06:07 PM
Gireesh.. do u really follow cricket. 1 guy does not form a team. If Mumbai is lagging behind is it because of 1 person. No matter how motivated you/your team is performance counts and thatz individual performances. If thats the case then your so called gr8 Ricky Ponting did not even contribute a lot to his team for KKR. so now tell me why is that. Ponting if he is so good, they should have won IPL 1.
