Why Belittle Him?
by Anand on Nov 15, 2009 11:51 AM  | Hide replies

Prem Panicker at it again! If nothing else, he gets thrills by calling Sachin Little, as if that makes PP great!

In no other nation will you belittle a great hero like Sachin thus. Prem, swich to calling him *Master Blaster* if you must. Come on, stop getting cheap thrills!

What can Prem Panicker do if the guy is so little? In any case, this little master has accumulated too much medical bill for the BCCI for last several years, and conveniently goes missing, when the going gets tough. And BCCI always keeps the seat warm for him.

Tripathi:

:) Very true. But surely his bills are nothing compared with what the YOUNGSTERS have started piling on. :)
Between Gambhir, Sehwag and Yuvraj, they must have bankrupted BCCI by now, since you are so sure that BCCI's current biggest worry is medical bills. :)

Sachin praise=Marathi Appeasement
by Rajesh Tripathi on Nov 15, 2009 11:41 AM  | Hide replies

I am sick and tired of Rediff going berserk with this Sachin praise. A player who is a burden on the team and should have retired at least five years ago is being extolled like a God. This is nothing but marathi appeasement by rediff. Marathis accuse government in indulging in minority appeasement, but Sachin's presence in the team is the worst kind of minority appeasement. Because Marathis with their 100 million population are a small minority in a nation where Hindi speakers have a population of 500 million.

Abey gghaatii, I suspect you don't know how to count. But if you do go to wikipedia and add the population of following states 10 states: UP, Bihar, MP, Rajashta, Uttarakhand, Chattisgarh, Jharkhand, Haryana, Delhi and Himachal. If you can read, you will find that all these states have Hindi as their official language and compulsory language in their schools.

Rajesh Tripathi:

I am extremely distressed that someone has forced you to come to this forum.

Kindly let us know the physical description of the person who has so force you, and we will complain to Rediff, so that they can block his/her identity permanently. We will also lodge a complaint with the police. :)

If you want 24 hour police protection so that others can't push you around (as you were in this case) that too can be arranged, I am sure. :)

Who are Critics ?
by john brag on Nov 14, 2009 09:48 PM  | Hide replies

People must not react to negative posts and call them critics. If a survey is conducted most of them must have not seen a cricket ball in real. They must be in their teens or some losers who have nothing in this world.
It's just jealousy, corrupt mind, bad attitude, and big mouth.
It is well said " Empty vessels make more sound"

Kamal Bhardwaj
Sachin is a standard
by Kamal Bhardwaj on Nov 14, 2009 09:40 PM

A guy who has played topclass cricket for continuous 20 years with same zest, enthusiasm, dedication and love- He is Sachin. His cricket is unparalled. We all should feel lucky to have seen him playing cricket. There are many who'll say that Sachin played for records and do not win matches for India. They should not forget many big names who were involved in the match fixing scandals. Whereas Sachin did his best, the other important one's undid his good work through match fixing. As an opener, its unfair to expect him to finish every match. There are 10 other players in the team who also should do their bit.
