Agarkar is definetly a great All rounder, but sachin is something different. Agarkar lacks the persistence & Consistency of Sachin. No doubt on Agarkar's Potential. He is much better than the current bowlers in the Indian team. The only thing he doesnt has is a GODFATHER. Sharad Pawar being from Mumbai has done very little for Mumbai Players. Agarkar should have been in the Current Indian Team. Many say he got many chances but never perfromed. He got selected, but with 1 bad match he was d 1st one to be dropped. He was utilised d best by Azhar. During that period he took the max. wickets.
What an Agony & shame in Indian cricket that the leading wicket taker in ODI (291)& record holder of fastest ODI Fity(21 balls) is out of team.

Hey,you are completely mad , for only a deranged mind like yours could write something like this , and when you opine the next time about Sachin, remember that Sachin is God of cricket.

only 3-4 years, his performance is awesome and he is as fit as a 20 year old. Dont u think 3-4 years is very less. Dont shorten his career. Let him decide when he has to retire :)
Kapil were plying in Sachin era or vice versa, then we would have won more matches.
Matches are more often than not won by bowlers. A batsman get one delivery--good or poor--to get chance, but a good bowler can come back again to produce his best in the same match.

Very true, esp. for current Indian team, and this is often an ignored fact . If bowlers , esp. in contemporary cricket, are not able to perform right, even 10 sachin's are not good enough to beat a team like australia . Our great captain always criticizes the top order or middle order batsmen for losses and will praize the bowlers when India wins.
Sachin i pray and i hope you remain fit till the 2011 World Cup so that you can win it for us and get the 1 record you are eager to achieve that of being part of a world cup winning team. The few (jealous) critics you have in the world will shut their trap after you are named the man of the series in 2011. Wish you all the best.

what abt 2015. He can continue palying even after 2011. Why b part of only one world cup:)
NEW DELHI: Sachin Tendulkar doesn't merely create batting records. He also does wonder to the TRPs. The Mumbai maestro's sensational 175 off 141 balls last week sent the television ratings soaring to a whopping 7.1, the highest in ODI matches in recent years.
According to Tam Media Research TV ratings, the ratings surpassed the Champions Trophy's highest TRP of 6.2 garnered in the match between India and Pakistan earlier this year. The TRPs increased as the tightly-contested series progressed. The first match had a TRP of 3.6 followed by 4.9 and 5.9 in the second and third games. The Mohali match, which India lost narrowly, had a TRP of 6.1.
The average TRP in the first five matches of the India-Australia series was 5.51, which is higher than the average TRP of 2007 Twenty20 World Cup in South Africa, IPL I in 2008 (4.7), IPL II (4.2) in 2009. Even the average TRPs of the T20 World Cup in England this year was 2.89. This underlines that audience interest in ODIs is far from over.
In 2007, when Australia toured India after the T20 World Cup, the Nagpur match on October 14 had recorded a high TRP of 9.3. It was again a high scoring game and that time India were chasing Australia's 317 and eventually lost by 18 runs.
In that match too Tendulkar had made a run-a-ball 72. The average TRP of the 2007 India-Australia series was higher (6.6) compared to 2009 series. But then, two years ago, T20 was just new to the viewers and the Indians were fresh from a World Cup
