AB devilers of SA is the best batter now in world.
he plays strokes soo freely and keep good strike rates , hit big sixes and find gaps easly.
i think its time to AB to take over world no.1 batting slot.
also when ever he scores 50 SA win that match .
also he is the fittest man in crikcet world, and run like a horse . also a great feilder

I hope you will be in a position to say this after 3-4 years. Look at the similar examples around and you will see plenty of them. It's about consistency.

And if you are saying SA wins with AB's 50, then either their bowlers bowled so well that opposition got out in 100 runs or they have other batsmen who can carry over (or create a platform) so that the 50 can make a win.

If India can't win with so many 50's and 100's of Sachin then I can understand what kind of team Sachin is playing in.

AB has only started his journey...lets hope he finally reach the destination...

SACHIN is a great player no doubt at all. He is the greatest with the most amazing technique. But even great players do age right. After 35 years of age people should gracefully retire and not simply play for sake of records. They must play for country and see how many matches they are able to contribute in and win for country. Country always comes first. No player is higher than the pride or honour of his country right ?

Sachin's scores in this series are:
14, 4, 32, 40, 175 and 10 (6 matches).

In 3 out of the 6 matches his score has not crossed 15 or 20 runs also (Dont forget that he is our OPENING batsman, SPECIALIST batsman whose role is to bat and give starts for India and score atleast 35 to 40 runs in every match and that too at a quick pace without wasting the POWERPLAY overs in the beginning. This was a home series in home/Indian conditions, Indian pitches, Indian support etc.. and not played on any foreign land also.)

Not scoring in many matches but scoring 175 in one match... well.
Is there something called "consistency" (which the great Sachin had a few years back, which is slowly disappearing now ?)

He was most amazing player to watch when he was in the 1990s and early 2000s till say 2005 or so (till age 30 or 32). Now he is 36 & he hardly scores in matches. 1 out of 10 matches if he scores big 100 (that also India loses these days). What's the point ? Present day form not past to be seen right ?
India or Sachins personal records are important?

Whatever he has done its great.Atleast now it is better to give his retirement and give chance for some young blood.
I don't know why most of the people praise as greater than any other batsmen(even Lara). For those people i request only one thing please watch the number of matches played to break the records ironically the number of matches played by sachin are more to break those records. So please stop praising him anymore.

he will retire when he is forced to do so. He will not leave on his own. He will need some failures, boos from fans, and some humiliating bowling from some of the world's best bowlers. That's the kind of farewell the little god will receive in the next 2-3 years.

Parents don't want their kids to be Sachin or Kids don't wanna be sachin only b'coz he makes runs for India. By the time Lara retired, the West Indies cricketers were happy to see him go. Lara played a major part in the decline of the West Indies. The way he ended Richie Richardson's career, the way he did'nt co-operate with Courtney Walsh, reflects poorly on him. Magnificent batsman, but by no means the best cricketer
