In olympics we are zeros.Indians are not good in any vigorous sport. We are a soft nation.Active sports require a hard aggressive stance and hard work.We lack both.We are good in non-active games like chess and billiards.

Its no jinx.

A little bird told me that about 4 to 5 so called great players from India were partying till 4a.m. at Hyderabad before the 5th ODI.

When one does that you don't need to be jinxed to loose. Now, we all know how Cricket Australia was firm with indiscipline.

Our guys are always too relaxed to reach anywhere near the professional Aussies.

The same little bird told me also that the only exeption was SACHIN.When the other " great" players prefered to bunk the practice after the Party, for two consecutive nights , Sachin was there on the ground ,practicing witht the local plyers.

Comments from Sachin's critics welcome.

mohali pitch is a lively pitch.sachin once again proved that he is a master blaster in dead pitches only.i am telling u the truth.visvanaths 98 no in chepauk, dravids 190 in christchurch vvslaxmans 290 in kolkatta and laras single handed victory against aussies during 2002 home series viv richards 189 against india at delhi r epic innings.sachin has nothing.during christchurch test sachin and dravid build a parternership of over 100 runs.sachin out for 66.dravid scored 190.during this partenership sachin struggeled and struggeled against the swing of nz.but dravid played in a copy book style very very omfortable .that was a lesson how 2 play swing in lively pitches that still tendulkar dont know even with 'sincere practice'

India's home jinx against Australia continues

The present bench strength of Indian team is very poor that most of the players take their place in the team for granted. Whenever they are in danger of losing their position in the team, they come up with a good score or bowling spell. Otherwise, they just are not putting up their 100% on the field, either while batting, bowling or fielding.

You normally build bench strength with good solid and consistent performances in your domestic league. Our bench strength is based on good performance in IPL and IPL only.

Can India win against Lankans?

If india can not win against the injured Australian team, can we expect India to win against Lankans who are in full force?

NO... India lost confidence now.
Indian batsmen are not playing well, lack of consistency.. one good innings then flops in 5 matches is not a good sign for the team

Poor Captancy
by Sachin Krishna on Nov 09, 2009 12:23 PM  | Hide replies

It shows the inexperence of captaining in the domestic level.Poor team selection, bowling change, taking of power play and more over poor field placing.Shrikanths team selection is not up to the mark.No probs with Tendulkar in the team, but if required india should use their experenced players. When zaheer is not there why no Agarkar. Why Dravid,Kaif not in atleast the final 15.Use Gambir with Sachin and use sehwag at 6th to use the 3rd powerplay.Make the oposition captain think abt using their best bowlers when players like sehwag, yuvraj down the order.Where is irfan pathan, abhishek nair.India lack all rounders. But will expect a good return by the team against Sri Lanka. All the best !!!

I prefer Gambir should open with Sachin and Sehwag should bat down the order at maybe 7, a good place for a pinch hitter. He is only pinch-hitting at his current position, and scoring nothing, so why dont he pinch-hit at No.7, and he can bowl too....I believe he is a good replacement for Yusuf Pathan and nobody else.

Captain is over-rated in cricket
by Naveen NV on Nov 09, 2009 12:23 PM

I think we should all get a life!! Firstly, Dhoni or anybody from India have ever been great captains nor have they been so bad as projected. The truth lies somewhere in the middle. The problem I find is that post-match conferences sound like politicians speaking, giving reasons one after another. I think the basic mantra should be "Don't fix the blame, FIX THE PROBLEM". If you cannot, well you are ordinary captain anyways.

The first and only time till now, when India reached no.1 spot,India lasted 24 hours. It was just two months ago.The next time(if ever),it will be a great achievement if India lasted 25 hours!
Aussies have been on the no.1 spot for years. It will take a miracle to dislodge them from the no.1 spot for more than one or two weeks. No wonder,Dravid said that the ranking system should be stopped by ICC.Then Indians can pretend they are always no.1(as was the case before the ranking system).
Cricket jaisa predictable, faltu game dekhnewale, tera mooh kala.
