Statements
by Ramdas Nayak on Nov 09, 2009 01:30 PM

The BCCI should stop some senior cricketers like Sehwag and Harbhajan from issuing silly predictions and statements against the touring teams when they land in India. The ultimate results would be always contrary to what is said by these players but media never goes back to them to ask for their reaction! These players should be stopped from speaking to media and asked to concentrate on game.

its winters now n its not a day nite match there
8:30am start lots of help for seem bowlers early on if they bowl well half the side will be knocked out in first hour of the play itself
by 4 - 4:30 pm it starts getting real dark there so thats also a disadvantage to side batting second

by Deepti Sen on Nov 09, 2009 01:22 PM  | Hide replies

Before the series started Harbhjan Singh predicted the series result to be 5-2........now it seems that it is turning out to be true .....Australia has a good chance to wrap up the series 5-2 in their favor....
GREAT PREDICTION!!!!!!

Bhajji always opens his mouth before the series just to ensure his inclusion in the team. It is high time we find a bowler who on his own can take India to victory like our Jumbo Kumble.

"Sachin Tendulkar [ Images ] became the first batsman to aggregate 3,000 runs against Australia. He is the first batsman to reach this milestone against a particular country."

- But the question is when will Sachin help India win in crucial moment??

Out of sachin 62 MOM (world record) in ODI, India won 60 matches.
It is clear he has played maximum no. of match winning inning in history of the game.
Also he along with greats dravid laxman , kumble & sehwag has contributed for maximum no. of wins in test matches.
He is a real consistent match winner & not a fluke like dhobi/yuvi/Gambhir etc who can win match once in blue moon that also on particular type of wickets.
Real kohinoor of India along with Vishwanathan Anand of chess who keeps Indian name high in international sports community.

Jinx is used as a verb here. If you are talking about euphemism, then each and every word in the newspapers can be taken in the euphemistic context right??

India has to learn from Australia
by Edwin Gomez on Nov 09, 2009 01:13 PM  | Hide replies

Without four top players Australia managed to grab the series in Indian Soil. India is only without Zaheer Khan. This means India had to change mentally a lot from losers to winners. We have a lot of good and talented players compared to Australia but our players calibre should be increase. This is evident in three out of four matches that we lost.

You may even add names of Indian players Gangully, Dravid, Laxman to Zahir Khan and say we lost because of their absence.
