Some facts about India - Auztralia series...
by Raj India on Nov 09, 2009 03:57 PM

The last series has shown some facts about the Indian team...
1) Current Indian team is an ordinary team that can be easily defeated by any other team. It has lost the killer instinct under team indian captain MSD. He has shown that the team can be defeated by a depleated australian second team...In the last macth, instead of sending the australian team in to batting, our foolish captain chose to bat where the conditions were suit for fast bowling. Even a child knows this except Dhoni and in India it is very rare to start a match at 8:30 am in the morning.

2) Also, in Indian team, only Sachin shows some responsibility to his place in the team and rest of the members does not have any passion or responsibility to the team. I think, the true players who were played really for India were retired and only sachin remains. Rest all are playing simply for 'MONEY'....

Drop Non performers

India has won 2 matches thanks to MSD. This clearly shows that the others are not true match winners. MSD needs to click for India to win matches...This is not possible always. The Selectors should sack non performers - Raina, Harbhajan and Ishanth Sharma for S/L series and bring back Rohit sharma, Ojha and Sreesanth

:)

All number 5 and 6 batsmen are "match winners" - coz they are the one hitting the winning runs. :)

By the way, India lost 4 matches in addition to the 2 wins. Do you know who should we thank for those losses?.. :)

selections
by debotosh on Nov 09, 2009 03:52 PM

we don't realise something at the grassroot level! we are selecting players like tame stupids...for example...jadeja played well in the domestic and was selected for WI tour this year...there he did not play well and was dropped !! after sometime...yusuf started playing like a mudhead and was excluded...jadeja was grafted in his place again on the context that he was playin well in the domestic !!! why do the selectors take such half hearted decisions??if you wan to let somebody play...give him enough opportunities !! the selectors simply rely on occassional prodigies,,,sometimes from sehwag , from yusuf pathan and others !! they included dravid and then kicked him out for no reason....this is causing serious trouble to the playing xi....this absurdity of the selectors must be done away with by some means or india is destined to become another KENYA very soon !

India vs Austrlia
by indira on Nov 09, 2009 03:33 PM

Australia won the series inspite of some of their senoir players being injured, because the players who get the chance to play, want to prove themselves and play with passion. But some of our players like Gambhir, Sehwag, Yuvi and Ishanth want to rest on the laurels of their past records and think that they need not do anything to prove themselves anymore. They have forgotten that a player irrespective of the records he is holding has to prove himself in each and every match he plays and I feel Sachin, Dravid, Laxman and Kumble(who is retired now) are the only players in our team who always play with passion and want to provethemselves in each and every match.

Why India lost
by LG on Nov 09, 2009 02:51 PM

More than anything passion is the most important factor.

Except Sachin, all member do not play with passion, do not play for their country.

In team sports, collective performance can win matches against any other team that lacks it.

These are main reason India lost series against Aussi

Howver, people come up with invalid reasons:

1. Sachin did not win matches

2. Indian lost because their favorite players--Dravid, Pathans, some unknown players--did not play.

Jinx
by SK on Nov 09, 2009 02:43 PM

Only Indians are worried about jinx and black magic.

Aussies play like they are playing sports and win matches. Indie players look like they are playing heroe's role in a B'wood movie, showing unwanted emotions when getting wickets, hitting centuries etc.

That is the difference.

Sehwag played for Aussies.
by Ramdas Nayak on Nov 09, 2009 02:15 PM

Actually Australia played with 12 batsmen and India only ten. Sehwag was helping Australia to break Indian batting. We have lost old Sehwag. The viewers having hypertension should not watch this person batting. The excitement for Australian bowler was at very low when Sehwag gets out as it is very easy for any bowler to take his wicket. Give him a lose ball to hit six and make sure that he is out within next three balls!.
