Yeah Sluck factor...Dhoni dropped simple catch of Marsh at first place which proved so expensive ..and now blame it on Luck huh

wow so u think pontngs aussies won all the wcups and champions trophy just out of pure luck? how do u explain aussies winning 4 cups starting from 1987 reliance cup till the last one 2 years back?is it luck?

yes. ponting had been lucky to hv team of performers like mcgrath, warne, hayden, gilcrist, etc. once they retired, ponting started to falter in wining like in ashes. now again he got the luck so despite all the good players injured, he started winning.

Vengsarkar had guts,Srikanth has none,he knows how to keep his post as chairman of selectors by singing sachins praise.. Vengsarkar wouldve never kept sachin and sacked only Dravid Ganguly etc...he wont have the double standard of Srikanth...no wonder he wasnt that popular among Gavaskar and co...
jadeja deserves all the blame in the world for 2 runouts in consecutive matches. n he has to look into his batting seriusly.
but ironically what went unnoticed in the series is that he has been instrumental in geting the crucial wkt of ausis capt ponting, throughout the series. a couple of times, jadeja has got the wkt of ponting whereas other time, ponting has been runout by him. very negligble but interesting contribution from him. isnt it?

dhoni him self is main looser now he needs to do self evaluation ATMA PARISHAN what goes wrong. when u point finger to other remaining 4 fingers folded point to ur self sir in 5 matches only 1 ton dhoni hit so also sachin so it is game of consistency not peak, impulsive tons. ravi shastri used to do 1 ton then fail for next 10 to 20 shows so australian selectors are ruthless who kicked steave waugh after new zealand india oz triseries slow batting rate of waugh
Indian team is bit overrated. India has one genius batsman, one good and reasonably reliable batsman (Gambhir), 3 ok dok batsman but very unreliable-sehwag, raina and yuvi-they are the weak link no 1.
A good captain, good wicket keeper and a useful batsman fairly reliable-dhoni
One batting/allrounder spot is empty and we havent found any yet.
The four bowlers, be any of them, are just average. For a long time India has not pruduced a match winer bowler.
This is the reality of Indian team.With a team like that, where 3 of your 'batsman' are unreliable,where one spot is not filled to potential, and 4 bowlers are just ok,
meaning 8 out of 11 spots are your weak links,we expect a lot from indian team.
WE win in patches,because sometimes our weak links fire and mostly they dont.

have permanant slots in team... when zhaer comes he will occupy one more ... means only 3 players ...of these there will be two bowlers...so nehra and ishant / pk are fixed... so there is selection for only one place...and we have 5 selectors who will choose that golden duck

They have tried many, we have seen it, from ipl they picked up pathan brothers, nayar,kohli and a few others...they never worked. Raina is not a great find he is very unreliable but who else? Simply we are not producing a good back like australia does because there are no facilities at grassroot level

among the scrap pathan bros and abhishek nayar can be given a chance or two for their allround abilities... jadeja and kohli are keep of dhoni

I dont think that will much difference. All of them are average chance players. You can keep rotating and someday someone may fire and make you win a match, but none of them is a consistant good player. Someone commented right earlier we are like English football team,over rated, over hyped, over loved. If we just accept that Indian team at present is an OK team then we will enjoy it more.maybe not :) we indian need our madcness kick-we are the best:)

Players like Yuvaraj, Kohli, jadeja,munaf are not good enough to play.They can lick Bollywood Pussies.Bowling is Club standard. Boycott's grandamma will score ton with ease. a regional news channel from AP reported that Dhoni, Yuvraj, Sehwag, and Gambhir were attending party given by a local MLA and ex-minister JC Diwakar Reddy's house..the day before match they returned at 3:40 AM and on the day of the match Dhoni himself returned at 8:00 AM they patried till the morning and what result do you expect from these bunch of idiots
